Ang mga Banwa Para sa Tribo ni Levi
1Karon, ang mga pangulo sang mga kaliwat ni Levi nagkadto kay Eleazar nga pari, kay Josue nga anak ni Nun, kag sa mga pangulo sang kada tribo sang Israel 2didto sa Shilo sa duta sang Canaan. Nagsiling sila, “Nagsugo ang Ginoo paagi kay Moises nga hatagan kami sang mga banwa nga amon pagaestaran kag mga palahalban21:2 palahalban: sa iban nga Bisaya, pahalalban. para sa amon mga sapat.” 3Gani suno sa ginsugo sang Ginoo, ginhatagan ang mga kaliwat ni Levi sang mga banwa kag mga palahalban halin sa mga duta sang mga Israelinhon.
4Ang una nga nakabaton sang mga banwa amo ang mga kaliwat ni Kohat. Ang iban sini sa ila mga kaliwat ni Aaron, kag ginhatagan sila sang 13 ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang mga tribo ni Juda, ni Simeon, kag ni Benjamin. 5Ang iban sang mga kaliwat ni Kohat ginhatagan sang 10 ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang mga tribo ni Efraim, ni Dan, kag sang katunga sang tribo ni Manase.
6Ang mga kaliwat ni Gershon ginhatagan sang 13 ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang mga tribo ni Isacar, ni Asher, ni Naftali, kag sang katunga sang tribo ni Manase sa Bashan.
7Ang mga kaliwat ni Merari ginhatagan sang 12 ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang mga tribo ni Reuben, ni Gad, kag ni Zebulun.
8Gani paagi sa paggabot-gabot, ginhatagan sang mga Israelinhon ang mga kaliwat ni Levi sang mga banwa kag mga palahalban, suno sa ginsugo sang Ginoo kay Moises.
9-10Amo ini ang mga ngalan sang mga banwa nga halin sa kadutaan sang mga tribo ni Juda kag ni Simeon nga ginhatag sa mga kaliwat ni Aaron. Ini sila mga kaliwat ni Kohat nga anak ni Levi. Sila ang una nga nagabutan nga hatagan sang mga banwa. 11Ginhatag sa ila ang Kiriat Arba (nga amo ang Hebron) sa kabukiran sang Juda, lakip na ang mga palahalban sa palibot sini. (Si Arba amo ang amay21:11 amay: ukon, katigulangan. ni Anak.) 12Pero ang mga kaumahan kag ang mga baryo sa palibot sang sini nga banwa ginhatag na kay Caleb nga anak ni Jefune bilang iya parte. 13Gani ginhatag sa mga kaliwat ni Aaron nga pari ang Hebron nga isa sa mga banwa nga dalangpan, nga sa diin makapalagyo ang tawo nga nakapatay nga indi niya hungod. Ginhatag pa gid sa ila ang Libna, 14Jatir, Eshtemoa, 15Holon, Debir, 16Ain, Juta, kag Bet Shemesh, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban: 9 ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang mga tribo ni Simeon kag ni Juda.
17-18Ginhatagan man sila sang apat ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang tribo ni Benjamin. Ini amo ang Gibeon, Geba, Anatot, kag Almon, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban.
1913 tanan ka banwa, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban, ang nabaton sang mga pari nga kaliwat ni Aaron.
20-22Ang iban nga mga kaliwat ni Kohat nga halin sa tribo ni Levi nakabaton sang apat ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang tribo ni Efraim. Ini amo ang Shekem (sa kabukiran sang Efraim nga isa sa mga banwa nga dalangpan, nga sa diin makapalagyo ang tawo nga nakapatay nga indi niya hungod), ang Gezer, Kibzaim, kag Bet Horon, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban.
23-24Ginhatagan man sila sang apat ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang tribo ni Dan. Ini amo ang Elteke, Gibeton, Ayalon, kag Gat Rimon, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban.
25Kag halin naman sa kadutaan sang katunga sang tribo ni Manase sa nakatundan, nabaton nila ining duha ka banwa: ang Taanak kag Gat Rimon, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban. 2610 tanan ka banwa, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban, ang nabaton sang iban nga mga kaliwat ni Kohat.
27Ang mga kaliwat ni Gershon nga halin sa tribo ni Levi nakabaton sang duha ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang katunga sang tribo ni Manase sa sidlangan. Ini amo ang Golan sa Bashan (nga isa sa mga banwa nga dalangpan, nga sa diin makapalagyo ang tawo nga nakapatay nga indi niya hungod), kag ang Beeshtera, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban. 28-29Ginhatagan man sila sang apat ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang tribo ni Isacar. Ini amo ang Kishion, Daberat, Jarmut, En Ganim, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban. 30-31Kag halin sa kadutaan sang tribo ni Asher, nabaton nila ining apat ka banwa: ang Mishal, Abdon, Helkat, kag Rehob, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban. 32Ginhatagan pa gid sila sang tatlo ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang tribo ni Naftali. Ini amo ang Kedesh sa Galilea (nga isa man sa mga banwa nga dalangpan, nga sa diin makapalagyo ang tawo nga nakapatay nga indi niya hungod), ang Hamot Dor, kag ang Kartan, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban. 3313 tanan ka banwa, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban, ang nabaton sang mga kaliwat ni Gershon.
34-35Ang mga nabilin nga mga kaliwat ni Levi—ang mga kaliwat ni Merari—nakabaton sang apat ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang tribo ni Zebulun. Ini amo ang Jokneam, Karta, Dimna, kag Nahalal, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban. 36-37Ginhatagan man sila sang apat ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang tribo ni Reuben. Ini amo ang Bezer, Jahaz, Kedemot, kag Mefaat, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban. 38-39Ginhatagan pa gid sila sang apat ka banwa halin sa kadutaan sang tribo ni Gad. Ini amo ang Ramot sa Gilead (nga isa sa mga banwa nga dalangpan, nga sa diin makapalagyo ang tawo nga nakapatay nga indi niya hungod), ang Mahanaim, Heshbon, kag Jazer, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban.
4012 tanan ka banwa, lakip ang ila sini mga palahalban, ang nabaton sang mga kaliwat ni Merari nga halin sa tribo ni Levi.
41-4248 tanan ka banwa, lakip ang ila tagsa ka palahalban, ang nabaton sang mga kaliwat ni Levi halin sa duta nga ginapanag-iyahan sang mga Israelinhon.
43Gani ginhatag sang Ginoo sa Israel ang tanan nga duta nga iya ginpromisa sa ila mga katigulangan. Sang masakop na nila ini, didto na sila nag-estar. 44Ginhatagan sila sang Ginoo sang kalinong sa ila mga kaaway sa palibot, suno sa ginpromisa sang Ginoo sa ila mga katigulangan. Wala sila napierdi sang ila mga kaaway tungod kay ginpadaog sila sang Ginoo sa tanan nila nga kaaway. 45Gintuman gid sang Ginoo ang tanan niya nga ginpromisa sa katawhan sang Israel.
1Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel; 2And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle. 3And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs. 4And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities. 5And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities. 6And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities. 7The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities. 8And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
9¶ And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name,21.9 mentioned: Heb. called 10Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot. 11And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.21.11 the city…: or, Kirjath-arba 12But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13¶ Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs, 14And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs, 15And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs,21.15 Holon: also called, Hilen 16And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.21.16 Ain: also called, Ashan 17And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,21.17 Geba: also called, Gaba 18Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities.21.18 Almon: also called, Alemeth 19All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
20¶ And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim. 21For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs, 22And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs; four cities. 23And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs, 24Aijalon with her suburbs, Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; four cities. 25And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; two cities. 26All the cities were ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.
27¶ And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beesh-terah with her suburbs; two cities. 28And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbs, Dabareh with her suburbs, 29Jarmuth with her suburbs, En-gannim with her suburbs; four cities. 30And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbs, Abdon with her suburbs, 31Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities. 32And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth-dor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities. 33All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
34¶ And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbs, 35Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; four cities. 36And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Jahazah with her suburbs, 37Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; four cities. 38And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs, 39Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all. 40So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities. 41All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs. 42These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.
43¶ And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. 44And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. 45There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
