(1 Cro. 1:34-37)
1Amo ini ang estorya parte sa pamilya ni Esau (nga ginatawag man nga Edom).
2Nagpangasawa si Esau sang mga babayi nga taga-Canaan. Sila amo si Ada nga anak ni Elon nga Hithanon kag si Oholibama nga anak ni Ana kag apo ni Zibeon nga Hivhanon. 3Ginpangasawa man niya si Basemat nga utod ni Nebayot nga anak ni Ishmael. 4Ang anak ni Esau kay Ada amo si Elifaz. Ang iya anak kay Basemat amo si Reuel. 5Kag ang iya mga anak kay Oholibama amo sila ni Jeush, Jalam, kag Kora. Sila ang mga anak ni Esau nga natawo sa Canaan.
6Gindala ni Esau ang iya mga asawa, mga anak, kag ang tanan nga sakop sang iya pamilya, pati ang iya mga pagkabutang kag kasapatan nga natipon niya sa Canaan, kag nagsaylo siya sa isa ka lugar palayo kay Jacob nga iya utod. 7Kay indi na sila puwede mag-upod sa isa ka lugar tungod sa kadamuon sang ila pagkabutang; kag ang lugar nga ila ginaestaran indi na makasustiner sa ila tungod sa kadamuon sang ila kasapatan. 8Gani didto nag-estar si Esau (nga ginatawag man nga Edom) sa kabukiran sang Seir.

10Ang anak ni Esau kay Basemat amo si Reuel, kag ang anak niya kay Ada amo si Elifaz.
11Ang mga anak ni Elifaz amo sila ni Teman, Omar, Zefo, Gatam kag Kenaz. 12May anak man si Elifaz nga si Amalek sa isa pa niya ka asawa nga si Timna. Sila ang mga apo ni Esau kay Ada.
13Ang mga anak ni Reuel amo sila ni Nahat, Zera, Shama, kag Miza. Sila ang mga apo ni Esau kay Basemat.
14Ang mga anak ni Esau kay Oholibama amo sila ni Jeush, Jalam, kag Kora. (Si Oholibama anak ni Ana kag apo ni Zibeon.)
15Amo ini sila ang nangin pangulo sa mga kaliwat ni Esau: Si Teman, Omar, Zefo, Kenaz, 16Kora,36:16 Kora: Indi ini makita sa Samaritan Pentateuch. Tan-awa man sa Gen. 36:11 kag 1 Cro. 1:36. Gatam, kag Amalek. Ini sila nga mga pangulo sang lugar sang Edom mga anak ni Elifaz kag mga apo ni Ada.
17Nangin pangulo man sa Edom ang mga anak ni Reuel nga sila ni Nahat, Zera, Shama, kag Miza. Sila ang mga apo ni Esau kay Basemat.
18Nangin pangulo man ang mga anak ni Esau kay Oholibama nga anak ni Ana. Sila amo si Jeush, Jalam, kag Kora.
19Sila tanan ang mga kaliwat ni Esau nga mga pangulo sang Edom.
Ang mga Kaliwat ni Seir
(1 Cro. 1:38-42)
20Amo ini ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Seir nga Horhanon nga nagaestar sa Edom: Si Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Ana, 21Dishon, Ezer, kag Dishan. Nangin pangulo man sila sang mga Horhanon nga nagaestar sa Edom.
22Ang mga anak ni Lotan amo si Hori kag si Hemam.36:22 Hemam: ukon, Homam. Si Lotan may utod nga babayi nga si Timna nga isa pa ka asawa ni Elifaz.
23Ang mga anak ni Shobal amo sila ni Alvan, Manahat, Ebal, Shefo, kag Onam.
24Ang mga anak ni Zibeon amo si Aya kag si Ana. Si Ana amo ang nakasapo sang tuburan didto sa kamingawan sang nagabantay siya sang mga asno sang iya amay. 25Ang mga anak ni Ana amo si Dishon kag si Oholibama.
26Ang mga anak ni Dishon amo sila ni Hemdan, Eshban, Itran, kag Keran.
27Ang mga anak ni Ezer amo sila ni Bilhan, Zaavan, kag Akan.
28Ang mga anak ni Dishan amo si Uz kag si Aran.
29-30Amo ini sila ang mga pangulo sang mga Horhanon nga may mga ginadumalahan nga mga lugar sa Seir: Si Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Ana, Dishon, Ezer, kag Dishan.
Ang mga Hari sang Edom
(1 Cro. 1:43-54)
31Amo ini sila ang mga hari sang Edom sang panahon nga wala pa sang mga hari ang mga Israelinhon: 32Si Bela nga taga-Dinhaba nga anak ni Beor nangin hari sa Edom. 33Pagkapatay niya, ginbuslan siya ni Jobab nga anak ni Zera nga taga-Bozra. 34Pagkapatay ni Jobab, ginbuslan siya ni Husham nga taga-Teman. 35Pagkapatay ni Husham, ginbuslan siya ni Hadad nga taga-Avit nga anak ni Bedad. The Family Line of Esau
1Here is the story of the family line of Esau. Esau was also called Edom.
2Esau got his wives from among the women of Canaan. He married Adah, the daughter of Elon the Hittite. He also married Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah and the granddaughter of Zibeon the Hivite. 3And he married Basemath, the daughter of Ishmael and the sister of Nebaioth.
4Adah had Eliphaz by Esau. Basemath had Reuel. 5Oholibamah had Jeush, Jalam and Korah. All of them were Esau’s sons. They were born in Canaan.
6Esau moved to a land far away from his brother Jacob. Esau took with him his wives, his sons and daughters, and all the people who lived with him. He also took his livestock and all his other animals. He took everything he had acquired in Canaan. 7Jacob and Esau owned so much that they couldn’t remain together. There wasn’t enough land for both of them. They had too much livestock. 8So Esau made his home in the hill country of Seir. Esau was also called Edom.

They are Eliphaz, the son of Esau’s wife Adah, and Reuel, the son of Esau’s wife Basemath.

Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenaz. 12Esau’s son Eliphaz also had a concubine named Timna. She had Amalek by Eliphaz. They were grandsons of Esau’s wife Adah.
13The sons of Reuel were
Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. They were grandsons of Esau’s wife Basemath.
14Esau’s wife Oholibamah was the daughter of Anah and the granddaughter of Zibeon.
She had Jeush, Jalam and Korah by Esau.

18The sons of Esau’s wife Oholibamah were
Chiefs Jeush, Jalam and Korah. They were the chiefs who were sons of Esau’s wife Oholibamah. She was Anah’s daughter.
19That was the family line of Esau. And these were the chiefs. Esau was also called Edom.
20Seir, the Horite, had sons living in the same area.
They were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, 21Dishon, Ezer and Dishan. These sons of Seir in Edom were Horite chiefs.
22The sons of Lotan were

Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
24The sons of Zibeon were

Dishon and Oholibamah. Oholibamah was the daughter of Anah.

Uz and Aran.
29The Horite chiefs were
Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, 30Dishon, Ezer and Dishan.

The Rulers of Edom
31Before Israel had a king, there were kings who ruled in Edom.
32Bela became the king of Edom. Bela was the son of Beor. Bela’s city was called Dinhabah.
33When Bela died, Jobab became the next king. Jobab was the son of Zerah from Bozrah.
34When Jobab died, Husham became the next king. Husham was from the land of the Temanites.
35When Husham died, Hadad became the next king. Hadad was the son of Bedad. Hadad had won the battle over Midian in the country of Moab. Hadad’s city was called Avith.
36When Hadad died, Samlah became the next king. Samlah was from Masrekah.
37When Samlah died, Shaul became the next king. Shaul was from Rehoboth on the river.
38When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan became the next king. Baal-Hanan was the son of Akbor.
39When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad became the next king. Hadad’s city was called Pau. His wife’s name was Mehetabel. She was Matred’s daughter. Matred was the daughter of Me-Zahab.
40Here are the chiefs in the family line of Esau. They are listed by name as chiefs in charge of their tribes and territories. They are

41Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,
