Ang Mensahi Batok sa Egipto
1Sang ikadose nga adlaw sang ikanapulo nga bulan, sang ikanapulo nga tuig sang amon pagkabihag, nagsiling ang Ginoo sa akon, 2“Tawo, mag-atubang ka sa Egipto, kag maghambal kontra sa Faraon nga hari sang Egipto, kag sa bug-os niya nga katawhan. 3Silinga siya nga ako, ang Ginoong Dios, nagasiling: Kontra ko ikaw, Faraon nga hari sang Egipto. Pareho ka sa dako nga buaya nga nagaubog sa imo suba. Nagasiling ka nga imo ang Suba sang Nilo, kag ginhimo mo ini para sa imo kaugalingon. 4Pero kaw-itan ko sang mga taga ang imo sag-ang, kag guyuron ka patakas halin sa imo suba. Kag samtang ginapatakas ka, may mga isda nga nagatapik sa imo hulohimbis nga panit. 5Ihaboy ko ikaw kag ang mga isda sa desierto, kag magahamyang ka sa duta nga wala sing may magkuha kag maglubong sa imo. Ipakaon ko ikaw sa talunon nga mga sapat kag sa mga pispis. 6Dayon mahibaluan sang tanan nga nagaestar sa Egipto nga ako amo ang Ginoo. Kay pareho man lang ikaw sang isa ka maluya nga tigbaw nga ginsaligan sang katawhan sang Israel. 7Sang maghamboy sila sa imo nabiak ka, kag napilas ang ila mga butkon. Sang magsandig sila sa imo nabali ka, gani natumba sila kag nabali ang ila balikawang. 8Gani ako, ang Ginoong Dios, nagasiling nga ipasalakay ko ikaw sa mga tawo nga magapatay sang imo katawhan kag sang ila mga kasapatan. 9Mangin mamingaw nga lugar ang Egipto. Dayon mahibaluan ninyo nga ako amo ang Ginoo.
“Tungod nga nagasiling ka nga imo ang Suba sang Nilo kag ikaw ang naghimo sini, 10kontra ko ikaw kag ang imo suba. Laglagon ko ang Egipto kag mangin mamingaw na ini halin sa Migdol pakadto sa Aswan, hasta sa dulunan sang Etiopia.29:10 Etiopia: sa Hebreo, Cush. 11Wala sing tawo ukon sapat nga mag-agi dira, kag wala sing may mag-estar sa sulod sang 40 ka tuig. 12Himuon ko ang Egipto nga pinakamamingaw sa tanan nga nasyon. Sa sulod sang 40 ka tuig, ang iya mga banwa mangin pinakamamingaw sa tanan nga banwa. Kag laptahon ko ang mga Egiptohanon sa nagkalain-lain nga mga nasyon.”
13Pero nagsiling man ang Ginoong Dios, “Sa tapos sang 40 ka tuig, tipunon ko ang mga Egiptohanon halin sa mga nasyon nga sa diin sila naglalapta. 14Ibalik ko sila sa Patros sa bagatnan sang Egipto, sa duta nga ila ginhalinan. Pero mangin kubos na sila nga ginharian— 15pinakakubos sa tanan nga ginharian. Kag indi na gid sila maglabaw pa liwat sa iban nga mga nasyon. Himuon ko sila nga maluya gid nga ginharian agod indi na sila makagahom pa liwat sa iban nga mga nasyon. 16Indi na gid magsalig liwat ang katawhan sang Israel sa Egipto. Ang gindangatan sang Egipto magapadumdom sa Israel sang ila sala, nga amo ang pagpangayo sang bulig sa Egipto. Dayon mahibaluan sang mga Israelinhon nga ako amo ang Ginoong Dios.”
17Sang nahauna nga adlaw sang nahauna nga bulan, sang ika-27 nga tuig sang amon pagkabihag, nagsiling ang Ginoo sa akon, 18“Tawo, ang mga soldado ni Haring Nebucadnezar sang Babilonia nagpakig-away sing tudo sa mga soldado sang Tyre hasta nga nagkalalbo sila kag nagkaladul-ak ang ila mga abaga. Pero wala gid sing may naagaw si Nebucadnezar kag ang iya mga soldado sa mga taga-Tyre. 19Gani ako, ang Ginoong Dios, nagasiling nga itugyan ko ang Egipto kay Nebucadnezar, ang hari sang Babilonia. Agawon niya ang tanan nga manggad sang Egipto bilang bayad sa iya mga soldado. 20Itugyan ko sa iya ang Egipto bilang premyo ko sa iya nga pagpangabudlay, tungod kay ginhimo niya ato kag sang iya mga soldado para sa akon. Ako, ang Ginoong Dios, ang nagasiling sini.
21“Ezekiel, sa tion nga matabo na ina, pabakuron ko liwat ang Israel, kag mareyalisar sang mga Israelinhon nga matuod ang imo mga ginhambal. Dayon mahibaluan nila nga ako amo ang Ginoo.”
1In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt: 3Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. 4But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales. 5And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.29.5 open…: Heb. face of the field 6And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel. 7When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.
8¶ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee. 9And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it. 10Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.29.10 utterly…: Heb. wastes of waste29.10 from…: or, from Migdol to Syene29.10 Syene: Heb. Seveneh 11No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years. 12And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
13¶ Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered: 14And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.29.14 habitation: or, birth29.14 base: Heb. low 15It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations. 16And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
17¶ And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 18Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it: 19Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.29.19 take her spoil…: Heb. spoil her spoil, and prey her prey 20I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.29.20 for his…: or, for his hire
21¶ In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
