1Yehova anandiyankhula kuti: 2“Iwe mwana wa munthu, tembenukira anthu a ku Amoni ndipo unenere mowadzudzula. 3Awawuze kuti, ‘Inu anthu a ku Amoni, imvani zimene Ambuye Yehova akunena. Iye akuti: Inu munanena mawu onyoza pamene Nyumba yanga yopatulika inkayipitsidwa. Munanyozanso dziko la Israeli pamene linaguga ndiponso anthu a ku Yuda pamene anatengedwa ukapolo. 4Nʼchifukwa chake Ine ndidzakuperekani mʼmanja mwa anthu akummawa ngati cholowa chawo. Iwo adzamanga misasa yawo ndi kukhoma matenti awo pakati panu. Adzadya zipatso zanu ndi kumwa mkaka wanu. 5Ndidzasandutsa Raba kuti akhale busa la ngamira ndi mizinda ya Aamoni kuti ikhale makola a nkhosa. Pamenepo inu mudzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova. 6Zimene ndikunena Ine Ambuye Yehova ndi izi: Inu munawomba mʼmanja ndi kumalumphalumpha. Munkakondwa mu mtima mwanu pamene munkanyoza dziko la Israeli. 7Nʼchifukwa chake ndidzatambasula dzanja langa kuti ndikulangeni, ndipo ndidzakuperekani kuti mukhale chofunkha cha anthu a mitundu ina. Ndidzakuchotsani pakati pa anthu a mitundu ina ndi kukufafanizani mʼmayiko onse. Ndidzakuwonongani, ndipo inu mudzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova!’ ”
Za Chilango cha Mowabu
8“Ambuye Yehova akuti, ‘Anthu a ku Mowabu ndi a ku Seiri ananena kuti anthu a ku Yuda ali ngati mayiko ena onse.’ 9Nʼchifukwa chake ndidzagumula mbali ina ya Mowabu, kuyambira ku mizinda yake ya kumalire; mizinda yokongola ya Beti-Yesimoti, Baala-Meoni ndi Kiriataimu. 10Ndidzapereka Amowabu pamodzi ndi Aamoni mʼmanja mwa anthu akummawa kotero kuti Aamoni adzayiwalikiratu pakati pa anthu a mitundu ina. 11Ndidzawalangadi Amowabuwo. Pamenepo iwo adzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova.”
Za Chilango cha Edomu
12“Ambuye Yehova akuti, ‘Pakuti Edomu analipsira Ayuda, ndiye kuti analakwa kwambiri pochita zimenezi. 13Nʼchifukwa chake Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Ndidzatambasula dzanja langa kulanga Edomu ndi kupha anthu ake ndiponso nyama zawo. Ndidzawonongeratu Edomu ndipo adzaphedwa ndi lupanga kuchokera ku Temani mpaka ku Dedani. 14Ndidzalanga Edomu ndi dzanja la anthu anga Aisraeli. Adzalanga anthu a ku Edomu molingana ndi mkwiyo ndi ukali wanga. Choncho adzaona kulipsira kwanga akutero Ambuye Yehova.’ ”

15“Ambuye Yehova akuti, ‘Afilisti analanga anthu anga mwankhanza ndi kuwalipsira. 16Nʼchifukwa chake Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Ndidzatambasula dzanja langa kukantha Afilistiwo. Ndidzafafaniza Akereti ndi kuwononga iwo amene amakhala mʼmbali mwa nyanja. 17Ndidzawabwezera chilango choopsa ndipo ndidzawalanga mu mkwiyo wanga. Ndikadzawalipsira ndipo adzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova.’ ”
A Prophecy Against Ammon
1A message from the Lord came to me. The Lord said, 2“Son of man, turn your attention to the Ammonites. Prophesy against them. 3Tell them, ‘Listen to the message of the Lord and King. He says, “You laughed when my temple was made ‘unclean.’ You also laughed when the land of Israel was completely destroyed. You mocked the people of Judah when they were taken away as prisoners. 4So I am going to hand you over to the people of the east. They will set up their tents in your land. They will camp among you. They will eat your fruit. They will drink your milk. 5I will turn the city of Rabbah into grasslands for camels. Ammon will become a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I am the Lord.” ’ ” 6The Lord and King says, “You clapped your hands. You stamped your feet. Deep down inside, you hated the land of Israel. You were glad because of what happened to it. 7So I will reach out my powerful hand against you. I will give you and everything you have to the nations. I will bring you to an end among the nations. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”
A Prophecy Against Moab
8The Lord and King says, “Moab and Edom said, ‘Look! Judah has become like all the other nations.’ 9So I will let Moab’s enemies attack its lower hills. They will begin at the border towns. Those towns include Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon and Kiriathaim. They are the glory of that land. 10I will hand Moab over to the people of the east. I will also give the Ammonites to them. And the Ammonites will no longer be remembered among the nations. 11I will punish Moab. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
A Prophecy Against Edom
12The Lord and King says, “Edom got even with Judah. That made Edom very guilty.” 13The Lord continues, “I will reach out my hand against Edom. I will kill its people and their animals. I will completely destroy it. They will be killed by swords from Teman all the way to Dedan. 14I will use my people Israel to pay Edom back. They will punish Edom because my anger against it is great. They will know how I pay back my enemies,” announces the Lord and King.
A Prophecy Against the Philistines
15The Lord and King says, “Deep down inside them, the Philistines hated Judah. So the Philistines tried to get even with them. They had been Judah’s enemies for many years. So they tried to destroy them.” 16The Lord continues, “I am about to reach out my hand against the Philistines. I will wipe out the Kerethites. I will destroy those who remain along the coast. 17You can be sure that I will pay them back. I will punish them because my anger against them is great. When I pay them back, they will know that I am the Lord.”
