1我是保罗，我做使徒并非受人委派，也不是倚靠人，而是由耶稣基督和叫祂从死里复活的父上帝委派的。 2我和所有跟我在一起的弟兄写信给加拉太的各教会。
3愿我们的父上帝和主耶稣基督赐给你们恩典和平安！ 4基督遵照我们父上帝的旨意为我们的罪献上了自己，好拯救我们脱离这罪恶的世代。
5愿荣耀归给上帝，直到永永远远。阿们！
勿随别的福音
6我很惊讶，你们竟然那么快就背弃了借着基督的恩典呼召你们的上帝，去追随别的福音！ 7其实那并不是福音，只是某些人扰乱你们的信仰，想篡改基督的福音。 8即便是我们或天使，若另传福音给你们，与我们以前传给你们的相悖，也该受咒诅。 9我们已经说过，现在我再说一次：如果有人向你们传别的福音，跟你们以前接受的不同，那人该受咒诅。
10我现在是要赢得人的赞同吗？还是要赢得上帝的赞同？难道我是要讨好人吗？如果我仍旧要讨好人，我就不是基督的奴仆了。
保罗受上帝委派传福音
11弟兄姊妹，我告诉你们，我传的福音不是出于人的意思， 12因为这福音既不是我从人那里领受的，也不是我跟人学来的，而是耶稣基督亲自启示我的。 13你们都听说过我信奉犹太教时的所作所为，我怎样残酷地迫害上帝的教会，试图摧毁它。 14我在犹太教里比许多同辈的犹太人更进取，狂热地维护祖先的传统。
15然而，当我还在母腹中的时候，上帝就施恩将我分别出来并呼召了我。 16上帝既然乐意把祂的儿子启示给我，叫我向外族人传扬祂的福音，我就没有跟任何人1:16 “人”希腊文是“血肉”。商量， 17也没有上耶路撒冷去见那些比我先做使徒的人，而是立刻去了阿拉伯，然后回到大马士革。
18过了三年，我才到耶路撒冷去拜会彼得，和他一起住了十五天。 19我也见了主耶稣的弟弟雅各，此外没有见过其他使徒。 20我在上帝面前保证，我写给你们的绝无谎言。
21后来我又到了叙利亚和基利迦地区。 22那时，犹太境内基督的众教会都还没有见过我的面。 23他们只是听人说：“那个从前迫害我们的人如今在传扬他曾试图摧毁的信仰。” 24于是他们因为我的缘故将荣耀归给上帝。
1Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) 2And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: 3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5To whom be glory for ever and ever. 6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. 13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: 14And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. 15But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, 16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: 17Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. 18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. 19But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother. 20Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. 21Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; 22And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ: 23But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed. 24And they glorified God in me.
