拜偶像者遭诛灭
1我听见祂高声呼喊说：“惩罚这城的人啊，拿起你们的兵器上前来吧！” 2只见六个人从北门走来，手中都拿着可怕的兵器。其中有一人身穿细麻衣，腰间带着墨盒。他们进入殿里，站在铜祭坛旁边。
3以色列上帝的荣耀原本在基路伯天使上，现在升到了殿门口。上帝把那身穿细麻衣、腰带墨盒的人召来， 4对他说：“你去走遍耶路撒冷，在那些因城中可憎之事而叹息哀伤的人额上画个记号。” 5我听见祂对其余的人说：“你们要跟随他走遍全城，毫不留情地杀戮， 6将男女老幼全部杀尽，但你们不能伤害额上有记号的。你们要从圣所开始。”于是他们首先杀了殿前的众长老。 7祂又对他们说：“要玷污这殿，把你们所杀的堆满整个院子。去吧！”他们便出去，在城中杀戮。 8那时，只留下我一个人，我便俯伏在地上呼求：“唉，主耶和华啊！你向耶路撒冷倾倒你的烈怒，要灭绝以色列所有的余民吗？”
9祂回答说：“以色列和犹大人罪大恶极，遍地是血腥，满城是冤屈，他们说，‘耶和华丢弃了这片土地，祂看不见我们。’ 10因此，我必不顾惜他们，也不怜悯他们，我必照他们的所作所为报应他们。”
11那个身穿细麻衣，腰带墨盒的人回来禀告说：“我已照你的吩咐做了。”

And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side; 4And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.9.4 set a mark: Heb. mark a mark
5¶ And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:9.5 mine hearing: Heb. mine ears 6Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.9.6 utterly: Heb. to destruction 7And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
8¶ And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem? 9Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.9.9 full of blood: Heb. filled with, etc9.9 perverseness: or, wresting of judgment 10And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head. 11And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.9.11 reported…: Heb. returned the word
