Pag-ampo alang sa Kapildihan sa Kaaway
1O Dios, ayaw pagpakahilom. Lihok!
2Tan-awa ang imong mga kaaway,
gakaguliyang sila ug nagapasigarbo nga modaog sila.
3Nagaplano sila sa tago batok sa katawhan nga imong gipanalipdan.
4Miingon sila, “Dali kamo! Laglagon ta ang nasod sa Israel aron dili na kini mahinumdoman hangtod sa kahangtoran.”
5Nagkauyon sila sa ilang daotang plano.
Naghimo silag kasabotan batok kanimo.
6Sila mao ang mga Edomihanon, Ishmaelinhon, Moabihanon, Hagarnon,
7Gebalihanon, Amonihanon, Amalekanhon, Filistihanon, ug ang katawhan sa Tyre.
8Miapil usab kanila ang Asiria nga usa ka lig-ong kaabin sa mga kaliwat ni Lot.83:8 mga kaliwat ni Lot: Tingali mao ang mga Moabihanon ug mga Amonihanon.
9Pildiha sila, Ginoo, sama sa imong gihimo sa mga Midianhon, ug kang Sisera ug kang Jabin didto sa Yuta sa Kishon.
10Nangamatay sila sa Endor ug ang ilang mga patayng lawas nangadunot sa yuta.
11Laglaga ang ilang mga pangulo sama sa imong gihimo kang Oreb, kang Zeeb, kang Zeba, ug kang Zalmuna.
12Miingon sila, “Angkonon nato ang yuta sa Dios.”
13O Dios ko, kataga sila sama sa abog o sa tahop nga gipalid sa hangin.
14-15Sama sa kalayo nga molamoy sa mga kakahoyan sa bukid, gukda sila ug hadloka sa imong hangin ug bagyo.
16Pakaulawi sila, Ginoo, hangtod nga modangop sila kanimo.
17Hinaut pa nga maulawan sila ug malisang sa walay kataposan.
Hinaut pa nga mamatay sila sa tumang kaulaw!
18Hinaut pa nga makaamgo sila nga ikaw, Ginoo, mao lang ang Labing Halangdong Dios sa tibuok kalibotan.

2For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:83.5 consent: Heb. heart
6The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.83.8 holpen: Heb. been an arm to
9Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
11Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
12Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
17Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
