Salmo 146
Pagdayeg sa Dios nga Manluluwas
1Dayega ang Ginoo!
Dayegon ko gayod ang Ginoo.
2Dayegon ko siya sa tibuok kong kinabuhi.
Awitan ko ang akong Dios sa mga pagdayeg samtang buhi pa ako.
3Ayaw ninyo ibutang ang inyong pagsalig sa mga gamhanang tawo ug sa kang bisan kinsa,
kay dili sila makaluwas kaninyo.
4Kon mamatay sila mobalik sila sa yuta,
ug nianang adlawa ang ilang mga plano matapos usab.
5Bulahan ang tawo kansang magtatabang mao ang Dios ni Jacob,
kansang pagsalig anaa sa Ginoo nga iyang Dios,
6nga mao ang naghimo sa kalangitan ug sa kalibotan, sa dagat, ug sa tanang anaa niini.
Kasaligan gayod ang Ginoo hangtod sa kahangtoran.
7Nagahukom siya dapig sa mga dinaog-daog,
ug nagahatag siya ug pagkaon sa gipanggutom.
Gihatagan sa Ginoo ug kagawasan ang mga binilanggo,
8giayo niya ang mga buta aron makakita,
gilig-on niya ang mga maluya,
gihigugma niya ang mga matarong,
9gibantayan niya ang mga dumuduong,
gitabangan niya ang mga ilo ug mga biyuda,
apan gibabagan niya ang mga pamaagi sa mga daotan.
10Mga lumulupyo sa Zion,146:10 Zion: mao usab ang Jerusalem. ang Ginoo nga inyong Dios nagahari sa walay kataposan!
Dayega ang Ginoo!
Psalm 146
1Praise the Lord.
I will praise the Lord.
2I will praise the Lord all my life.
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
3Don’t put your trust in human leaders.
Don’t trust in people who can’t save you.
4When they die, they return to the ground.
On that day their plans come to nothing.
5Blessed are those who depend on the God of Jacob for help.
Blessed are those who put their hope in the Lord their God.
6He is the Maker of heaven and earth and the ocean.
He made everything in them.
He remains faithful forever.
7He stands up for those who are treated badly.
He gives food to hungry people.
The Lord sets prisoners free.
8The Lord gives sight to those who are blind.
The Lord lifts up those who feel helpless.
The Lord loves those who do what is right.
9The Lord watches over the outsiders who live in our land.
He takes good care of children whose fathers have died.
He also takes good care of widows.
But he causes evil people to fail
in everything they do.
10The Lord rules forever.
The God of Zion will rule for all time to come.
Praise the Lord.
