Pagpasalamat tungod sa Kadaogan
1Pasalamati ang Ginoo, kay maayo siya;
ang iyang gugma walay kataposan.
2Ang katawhan sa Israel moingon, “Ang iyang gugma walay kataposan.”
3Ang mga kaliwat ni Aaron moingon,
“Ang iyang gugma walay kataposan.”
4Ang mga nagatahod sa Ginoo moingon,
“Ang iyang gugma walay kataposan.”
5Sa akong kalisod, nanawag ako sa Ginoo,
ug gitubag niya ako pinaagi sa pagluwas kanako.
6Kauban ko ang Ginoo, busa dili ako mahadlok.
Unsay mahimo sa tawo batok kanako?
7Kauban ko ang Ginoo.
Siya ang nagatabang kanako,
ug makita ko gayod ang pagkapildi sa akong mga kaaway.
8Mas maayo pa nga modangop sa Ginoo kaysa mosalig sa isigka-tawo.
9Mas maayo pa nga modangop sa Ginoo kaysa mosalig sa mga tawo nga anaa sa gahom.
10Gilibotan ako sa daghang mga nasod,
apan gipildi ko sila pinaagi sa gahom sa Ginoo.
11Tinuod nga gilibotan nila ako,
apan gipildi ko sila pinaagi sa gahom sa Ginoo.
12Daw mga putyukan sila nga naglibot kanako,
apan napugngan sila dayon nga daw daob sa dagami nga dali rang napalong.
Gipildi ko sila pinaagi sa gahom sa Ginoo.
13Giataki nila118:13 nila: Mao kini sa Septuagint ug sa Syriac; apan sa Hebreo, mo. ako pag-ayo ug hapit na gayod ako nila mapildi,
apan gitabangan ako sa Ginoo.
14Ang Ginoo mao ang nagahatag kanako ug kusog
ug siya ang akong awit.
Siya ang akong manluluwas.
15-16Pamatia ang panaghugyaw sa mga katawhan sa Dios diha sa ilang mga tolda tungod sa ilang kadaogan:
“Kini nga kadaogan gihimo sa Ginoo pinaagi sa iyang gahom!
Ang gahom sa Ginoo mao ang nagpadaog kanato!”
17Dili pa ako mamatay; magpabilin pa akong buhi.
Isaysay ko ang gipanghimo sa Ginoo.
18Gisilotan ako pag-ayo sa Ginoo,
apan wala niya itugot nga mamatay ako.
19Ablihi ang mga pultahan sa templo sa Ginoo118:19 mga pultahan sa templo sa Ginoo: o, mga pultahan sa katarong. alang kanako, kay mosulod ako ug magpasalamat sa Ginoo.
20Mao kini ang pultahan sa Ginoo diin ang mga matarong lang ang makasulod.
21Magpasalamat ako kanimo, Ginoo, kay gitubag mo ang akong pag-ampo.
Ikaw ang kaluwasan alang kanako.

25Ginoo, nagapangamuyo kami kanimo, luwasa intawon kami.
Hatagi kami ug kalamposan.
26Hinaut nga panalanginan sa Ginoo ang hari nga iyang pinadala.

27Ang Ginoo, Dios; ug maayo kaayo siya kanato.
Magdala kita ug mga sanga sa kahoy sa pagsaulog sa pista, ug molibot kita sa halaran.
28Ginoo, ikaw ang akong Dios;
nagapasalamat ako ug nagadayeg kanimo.
29Pasalamati ang Ginoo, kay maayo siya;
ang iyang gugma walay kataposan.
Psalm 118
1Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures for ever.
2Let Israel say:
‘His love endures for ever.’
3Let the house of Aaron say:
‘His love endures for ever.’
4Let those who fear the Lord say:
‘His love endures for ever.’
5When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place.
6The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
7The Lord is with me; he is my helper.
I look in triumph on my enemies.
8It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in humans.
9It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in princes.
10All the nations surrounded me,
but in the name of the Lord I cut them down.
11They surrounded me on every side,
but in the name of the Lord I cut them down.
12They swarmed around me like bees,
but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns;
in the name of the Lord I cut them down.
13I was pushed back and about to fall,
but the Lord helped me.
14The Lord is my strength and my defence118:14 Or song;
he has become my salvation.
15Shouts of joy and victory
resound in the tents of the righteous:
‘The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!
16The Lord’s right hand is lifted high;
the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!’
17I will not die but live,
and will proclaim what the Lord has done.
18The Lord has chastened me severely,
but he has not given me over to death.
19Open for me the gates of the righteous;
I will enter and give thanks to the Lord.
20This is the gate of the Lord
through which the righteous may enter.
21I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
you have become my salvation.
22The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
23the Lord has done this,
and it is marvellous in our eyes.
24The Lord has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad.
25Lord, save us!
Lord, grant us success!
26Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

and he has made his light shine on us.
With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession
