Bulahan ang Tawo nga Matarong
1Bulahan ang tawo nga wala nagakinabuhi sumala sa tambag sa mga daotang tawo,
wala nagasunod sa ginabuhat sa mga makasasala,
ug wala nagapakig-uban sa mga bugalbugalon.
2Kondili, nagakalipay siya sa pagsunod sa mga katudloanan nga gikan sa Ginoo,
ug nagapamalandong siya niini adlaw ug gabii.
3Sama siya sa kahoy nga gitanom sa daplin sa sapa,
nga mamunga sa panahon sa tingbunga,
ug dili malaya ang mga dahon.
Ug ang tanan niyang buhaton magmalampuson.
4Apan dili ingon niana ang mga tawong daotan;
sama sila sa tahop nga paliron lang sa hangin.
5Busa sa adlaw sa paghukom, silotan sila sa Dios,
ug dili sila iipon sa mga matarong.
6Kay ginagiyahan sa Ginoo ang pagkinabuhi sa mga matarong,
apan ang pagkinabuhi sa mga daotan maghatod kanila ngadto sa kalaglagan.

Psalm 1
1Blessed is the person who obeys the law of the Lord.
They don’t follow the advice of evil people.
They don’t make a habit of doing what sinners do.
They don’t join those who make fun of the Lord and his law.
2Instead, the law of the Lord gives them joy.
They think about his law day and night.
3That kind of person is like a tree that is planted near a stream of water.
It always bears its fruit at the right time.
Its leaves don’t dry up.
Everything godly people do turns out well.
4Sinful people are not like that at all.
They are like straw
that the wind blows away.
5When the Lord judges them, their life will come to an end.
Sinners won’t have any place among those who are godly.
6The Lord watches over the lives of godly people.
But the lives of sinful people will lead to their death.
