Ang Pagpangutana sa Katungod ni Jesus
(Mat. 21:23-27; Mar. 11:27-33)
1Usa ka adlaw niana, samtang nagtudlo si Jesus sa Maayong Balita sa mga tawo didto sa templo, miduol kaniya ang kadagkoan sa mga pari, ang mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan, ug ang mga pangulo sa mga Judio. 2Nangutana sila, “Unsa ba ang imong katungod sa pagbuhat niining mga butanga dinhi sa templo. Kinsa ba gayod ang naghatag kanimo niini nga katungod?” 3Mitubag si Jesus kanila, “May pangutana usab ako kaninyo. Sultihi ninyo ako, 4kang kinsa ba naggikan ang katungod ni Juan sa pagbautismo, sa Dios ba o sa tawo?” 5Naglalis sila kon unsa ang ilang itubag, “Kon moingon kita nga, ‘Gikan sa Dios,’ moingon siya, ‘O, nganong wala man kamo motuo kang Juan?’ 6Apan kon moingon kita nga ‘Gikan sa tawo,’ batoon kita sa mga tawo, tungod kay mituo sila nga si Juan propeta sa Dios.” 7Busa mitubag sila kang Jesus nga wala sila mahibalo. 8Unya miingon si Jesus kanila, “Kon mao kana dili ko usab kamo sultihan kon diin gikan ang akong katungod sa pagbuhat niini.”
Ang Sambingay bahin sa mga Saop
(Mat. 21:33-46; Mar. 12:1-12)
9Gisuginlan dayon ni Jesus ang mga tawo niini nga sambingay, “May usa ka tawo nga may yuta nga gipatamnan niya ug ubas. Pagkahuman gipasaopan niya kini ug milakaw ngadto sa layong dapit. 10Sa panahon na sa pagpamupo sa ubas, gisugo niya ang usa ka sulugoon ngadto sa mga saop aron sa pagkuha sa iyang bahin. Apan pag-abot didto sa sulugoon, gikulata nila kini ug gipapauli nga walay dala. 11Unya nagsugo na usab ang tag-iya ug usa pa ka sulugoon. Apan pag-abot sa sulugoon didto sa mga saop gikulata usab kini ug gipakaulawan ug gipapauli usab nila nga walay dala. 12Nagsugo pa gayod ang tag-iya ug ikatulong sulugoon, apan pag-abot niya didto gipasakitan nila kini ug giabog pauli. 13Busa ang tag-iya sa ubasan miingon, ‘Unsa na lang kaha ang akong buhaton? Ah, sugoon ko na lang ang akong pinalanggang anak, kay tingali ug tahoron nila siya.’ 14Apan sa pagkakita sa mga saop sa iyang anak, miingon sila, ‘Ania na ang manununod. Dali, patyon nato siya aron maato na ang iyang mapanunod.’ 15Busa gidala nila kini ngadto sa gawas sa ubasan ug gipatay.”
Unya miingon si Jesus sa mga tawo, “Karon, unsa man ang buhaton sa tag-iya ngadto kanila? 16Sigurado gayod nga adtoon niya ang mga saop ug pamatyon. Unya pasaopan niya sa uban ang iyang ubasan.” Pagkadungog niini sa mga tawo miingon sila, “Hinaut unta nga dili itugot sa Dios nga mahitabo ang sama niana!” 17Apan gitan-aw sila ni Jesus ug gipangutana, “Unsa man diay ang kahulogan sa Kasulatan nga nagaingon:
‘Ang bato nga gisalikway sa mga panday
mao gayod hinuon ang nahimong pundasyon.’20:17 Tan-awa usab ang Salmo 118:22.
18Si bisan kinsa nga mahulog niadtong batoha mabalian, apan ang mahulogan sa maong bato madugmok gayod.”
Ang Pangutana bahin sa Pagbayad ug Buhis
(Mat. 22:15-22; Mar. 12:13-17)
19Niadtong higayona dakpon na unta siya sa mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan ug sa kadagkoan sa mga pari, kay nahibaloan nila nga sila gayod ang iyang gitumong sa iyang sambingay. Apan nahadlok sila sa mga tawo. 20Busa naghulat na lang sila ug laing higayon. Nagpadala sila ug mga espiya nga nagpakaaron-ingnon nga maayo ang ilang tuyo, aron nga kon may makita sila nga sayop sa iyang gipanulti, isumbong nila siya ngadto sa gobernador. 21Nangutana kining mga espiya kang Jesus, “Magtutudlo, nasayod kami nga husto ang imong gipanulti ug gipanudlo. Ug wala ka gayoy gipalabi bisan kinsa, hinuon ang kamatuoran mahitungod sa kabubut-on sa Dios alang sa mga tawo mao gayod ang imong gipanudlo. 22Sa imong huna-huna, husto ba o dili nga kita, isip mga Judio, mobayad ug buhis ngadto sa Emperador sa Roma?” 23Apan nahibaloan ni Jesus ang ilang daotang tuyo, busa miingon siya kanila, 24“Pakit-a ninyo ako ug kuwarta. Kang kinsa bang hitsura ug ngalan ang nahimutang diha?” Mitubag sila, “Iya sa Emperador.” 25Busa miingon si Jesus kanila, “Kon mao kana, ihatag ninyo sa Emperador ang iya sa Emperador ug sa Dios ang iya sa Dios.” 26Busa sa atubangan sa tanan wala gayod nila siya mabitik sa iyang gipanulti. Ug tungod kay natingala sila sa tubag ni Jesus, mihilom na lang sila.
Ang Pangutana bahin sa Pagkabanhaw
(Mat. 22:23-33; Mar. 12:18-27)
27May mga Saduseo nga miduol kang Jesus. Kining mga tawhana wala nagatuo nga may pagkabanhaw. 28Nangutana sila, “Magtutudlo, gisulat ni Moises kanato kini nga balaod nga kon mamatay ang lalaki ug wala silay anak sa iyang asawa, kinahanglan nga ang iyang igsoon ang mangasawa sa nabalo aron makaanak siya alang sa iyang igsoon nga namatay.20:28 Tan-awa usab ang Deu. 25:5. 29Karon, may pito ka managsoon nga lalaki. Ang kamagulangan nakapangasawa, ug namatay siya nga walay anak. 30Busa ang balo gipangasawa sa sunod nga igsoon. Apan namatay usab siya nga wala silay anak. 31Mao usab ang nahitabo sa ikatulo nga igsoon, hangtod sa ikapito. Nangamatay silang tanan nga walay anak niadto nga babaye. 32Sa kaulahian namatay usab ang babaye. 33Karon, kon muabot na ang pagkabanhaw, kang kinsa man siyang asawa, kay silang pito nakapangasawa man kaniya?”
34Gitubag sila ni Jesus, “Dinhi sa kalibotan magminyoay ang mga tawo. 35Apan si bisan kinsa nga takos nga banhawon ug dad-on didto sa laing kinabuhi dili na magminyoay. 36Dili na sila mamatay tungod kay mahisama na sila sa mga anghel; mga anak sila sa Dios, kay gibanhaw man sila. 37Bahin sa pagkabanhaw sa mga patay, bisan gani ang giingon ni Moises didto sa nagdilaab nga sampinit nagpamatuod niini. Dili ba nga gitawag man niya ang Ginoo nga ‘Dios ni Abraham, Dios ni Isaac, ug Dios ni Jacob’20:37 Tan-awa usab ang Exo. 3:6.? 38Kini nagpamatuod nga bisan dugay na silang namatay, buhi pa gihapon sila, tungod kay ang Dios dili Dios sa mga patay, kondili Dios sa mga buhi. Alang kaniya, buhi ang tanan.” 39Ang uban nga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan miingon, “Magtutudlo, husto ang imong tubag.” 40Ug wala nay nangahas pa sa pagpangutana kaniya.
Ang Pangutana bahin sa Cristo
(Mat. 22:41-46; Mar. 12:35-37)
41Unya, nangutana si Jesus sa mga tawo, “Nganong gi-ingon man nila nga ang Cristo20:41 Cristo: sa literal, dinihogan. Ang Cristo (Mesiyas) mao ang ginahulat sa mga Judio nga muabot sa paghari kanila. kaliwat ni David? 42Kay si David mismo nagaingon man diha sa Libro sa mga Salmo:
‘Miingon ang Ginoo sa akong agalon nga hari,
Lingkod dinhi dapit sa akong tuo,
43hangtod mapailalom ko kanimo ang imong mga kaaway.’20:43 Tan-awa usab ang Salmo 110:1.
44Kon gitawag siya ni David nga iyang Ginoo, mahimo ba nga kaliwat lang siya ni David?”
Nagpasidaan si Jesus bahin sa mga Magtutudlo sa Kasugoan
(Mat. 23:1-36; Mar. 12:38-40)
45Samtang naminaw ang mga tawo kang Jesus, miingon siya sa iyang mga tinun-an, 46“Pagbantay kamo sa mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan nga gustong magsuroy-suroy nga nagabistig taas. Sa mga dapit nga tigomanan sa mga tawo, gusto nila nga tahoron sila. Sa mga simbahan o sa mga kombira ginapili gayod nila ang mga lingkoranan nga alang sa mga pinasidunggan. 47Ginailog nila ang mga kabtangan sa mga babaye nga balo, ug ginatabon-tabonan lang nila ang ilang daotang binuhatan pinaagi sa tag-as nga mga pag-ampo. Kini sila makadawat ug mas bug-at nga silot.”
1And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders, 2And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority? 3And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: 4The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? 5And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? 6But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. 7And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. 8And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. 9Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time. 10And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. 11And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. 12And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out. 13Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him. 14But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. 15So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? 16He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. 17And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? 18Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
19¶ And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them. 20And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor. 21And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly: 22Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Cæsar, or no? 23But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? 24Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Cæsar’s. 25And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Cæsar the things which be Cæsar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s. 26And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
27¶ Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him, 28Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 29There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children. 30And the second took her to wife, and he died childless. 31And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died. 32Last of all the woman died also. 33Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife. 34And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. 37Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 38For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
39¶ Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said. 40And after that they durst not ask him any question at all. 41And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David’s son? 42And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 43Till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 44David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
45¶ Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples, 46Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; 47Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
