Kalinaw sa Kalibotan
(Micas 4:1-3)
1Mao kini ang mensahe sa Dios nga nakita ni Isaias nga anak ni Amos bahin sa Juda ug Jerusalem:
2Sa umaabot nga mga adlaw, ang bukid nga gitukoran sa templo sa Ginoo mahimong pinakaimportante sa mga bukid ug sa mga bungtod. Ug modagsa niini nga bukid ang mga tawo nga naggikan sa tanang nasod.
3Moingon sila, “Dali, motungas kita sa bukid sa Ginoo, didto sa templo sa Dios ni Jacob.
Kay tudloan kita niya sa iyang mga pamaagi aron magkinabuhi kita sumala niini.”
Busa mopauli ang mga tawo gikan sa Jerusalem2:3 Jerusalem: Sa Hebreo makita usab ang pulong nga Zion, nga mao ang laing ngalan sa Jerusalem. dala ang mga balaod sa Ginoo.
4Ug pinaagi sa iyang kasugoan, husayon niya ang mga panagbingkil sa daghang mga nasod.
Busa dili na mag-away ang mga nasod, ug dili na usab sila magbansay ug mga tawo aron sa pagpakiggira. Himuon na lang nilang punta sa mga daro ang ilang mga espada ug himuon na lang nilang mga sundang ang ilang mga bangkaw.
5Dali, kamong mga kaliwat ni Jacob, magkinabuhi kita diha sa kamatuoran2:5 kamatuoran: sa literal, kahayag. nga gihatag sa Ginoo kanato.
Sa Adlaw sa Pagsilot
6Tinuod nga gisalikway mo, Ginoo, ang imong katawhan, ang mga kaliwat ni Jacob, kay daghan silag mga tinuohan nga gikan sa sidlakan ug naghimo usab silag mga pagpanagna sama sa mga Filistihanon. Nakig-uyon sila sa mga kinaiya sa mga langyaw. 7Abunda sa pilak ug bulawan ang ilang yuta, ug walay pagkahurot ang ilang bahandi. Daghan kaayo ang ilang mga kabayo, ug walay pagkahurot ang ilang mga karwahe. 8Daghan silag mga dios-dios. Nagasimba sila niining mga butang nga hinimo lang nila. 9Busa ipaubos ang matag usa kanila ug pakaulawi sila. Ayaw silag pasayloa, Ginoo!
10Mga Israelinhon, panago kamo sa mga langub o sa mga bangag aron makalikay kamo sa kapungot sa Ginoo ug sa iyang dakong gahom. 11Moabot ang adlaw nga ang Ginoo lang gayod ang pagadaygon. Ipaubos niya ang mga mapasigarbohon ug mapahitas-on. 12Kay may adlaw nga gitagana ang Ginoo nga labing gamhanan sa pagpaubos sa tanang mga mapasigarbohon, mga mapahitas-on, ug sa mga nagaila sa ilang kaugalingon nga gamhanan. 13Putlon niya ang tanang tag-as nga mga sidro sa Lebanon, ug ang tanang mga tugas sa Basan. 14Patagon niya ang tanang habog nga kabukiran ug mga bungtod. 15Gub-on niya ang tanang tag-as nga mga tore ug mga paril. 16Lunoron niya ang tanang mga barko nga iya sa Tarshish ug ang matahom nga mga sakayan. 17Nianang adlawa, ang Ginoo lamang maoy pasidunggan. Ipaubos niya ang mga mapasigarbohon ug ang mga mapahitas-on. 18Ug mahanaw sa hingpit ang mga dios-dios.
19Manago ang mga tawo sa mga langub sa bakilid ug sa mga bangag sa yuta aron makalikay sa kapungot sa Ginoo ug sa iyang dakong gahom sa panahon nga uyogon na niya ang kalibotan. 20Nianang adlawa, ipanglabay nila ngadto sa mga ilaga ug sa mga kabog ang ilang gisimba nga mga dios-dios nga hinimo nila gikan sa plata ug bulawan. 21Manago sila sa mga langub sa bakilid ug sa mga bangag sa dagkong mga bato aron makalikay sa kapungot sa Ginoo ug sa iyang dakong gahom sa panahon nga uyogon na niya ang kalibotan.
22Ayaw na kamo pagsalig sa tawo—kay mamatay ra siya. Unsa ba gayod ang iyang matabang?

6¶ Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.2.6 from…: or, more than the2.6 please…: or, abound with the 7Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots: 8Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made: 9And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.
10¶ Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty. 11The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. 12For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: 13And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, 14And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, 15And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, 16And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.2.16 pleasant…: Heb. pictures of desire 17And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. 18And the idols he shall utterly abolish.2.18 he…: or, shall utterly pass away 19And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.2.19 of the earth: Heb. of the dust 20In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;2.20 his idols of silver…: Heb. the idols of his silver, etc2.20 each…: or, for him 21To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. 22Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
