Parkside Church, Cleveland, OH
Alistair Begg has been in pastoral ministry since 1975. Following graduation from The London School of Theology, he served eight years in Scotland at both Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh and Hamilton Baptist Church. In 1983, he became the senior pastor at Parkside Church near Cleveland, Ohio. He has written several books and is heard daily and weekly on the radio program, Truth For Life. The teaching on Truth For Life stems from the week by week Bible teaching at Parkside Church. He and his wife, Susan, were married in 1975 and they have three grown children.
Fernando is one of Christian music’s most respected artists, his works encompassing modern hymns, liturgical songs, and Inspirational and praise & worship favorites. With three Gospel Music Association Dove Awards and a Billboard Latin Music Award to his credit, Fernando’s Christian radio hits include “This Good Day,” “Jesus, King of Angels” and “Sleepless Night.” Renowned for his stirring arrangements of beloved hymns— “Give Me Jesus” and “Be Thou My Vision,” among others— his solo discography features 18 projects in a heralded career spanning more than 25 years. Descended from eight generations of Mexican weavers, this son of the Rio Grande entwined thoughtful melodies with Celtic, bluegrass, classical and Latin American influences to create something unique and rare.
River Pointe Church, Houston, TX
Bob started his Air Force career in 1972 at the USAF Navigator School in California. He served as a navigator on a KC-135 doing inflight air refueling six years until he left the Air Force for Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1980. After seminary he served as the pastor of churches in Arkansas and North Carolina for six years. In 1989 Bob returned to active duty Air Force where he served as a chaplain in Japan, Texas, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington, DC. Bob retired from the Air Force after 33 years as the Deputy Chief of Chaplain in the rank of Brigadier General. Bob is serving at River Pointe Church as the Missions and Care Pastor. Bob and his wife Ruth have two daughters and five grandchildren.
Chicago Tabernacle, Chicago, IL
Pastor Al Toledo, Lead Pastor of Chicago Tabernacle, with his wife Chrissy, pioneered the multi-ethnic, vibrant church in 2002. Pastor Al lives with fervent desire to see people become all God has called them to be. An expression of this desire is the DNA of a Leader, a leadership training launched in 2012 to staff and lay leaders at Chicago Tabernacle, emanating from his over 25 years of ministry experience. Since then, DNA has been taught globally, in multiple seminaries, and in various cities.
