以賽亞書 43:18-21

耶和華說：

「不要想念過去，

不要緬懷往事。

看啊，我要行一件新事，

這事現在就要發生，

難道你們沒有察覺嗎？

我要在曠野闢道路，

在沙漠開江河。

野獸必尊崇我，

其中有豺狼和鴕鳥，

因為我使曠野有甘泉，

使沙漠有江河，

供我揀選的子民飲用。

他們是我為自己所造的子民，

他們要頌揚我。
