إنجيل متى 13:31-32

وَضَرَبَ لَهُمْ مَثَلاً آخَرَ، قَالَ: «يُشَبَّهُ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِبِزْرَةِ خَرْدَلٍ أَخَذَهَا إِنْسَانٌ وَزَرَعَهَا فِي حَقْلِهِ. فَمَعَ أَنَّهَا أَصْغَرُ الْبُذُورِ كُلِّهَا، فَحِينَ تَنْمُو تُصْبِحُ أَكْبَرَ الْبُقُولِ جَمِيعاً، ثُمَّ تَصِيرُ شَجَرَةً، حَتَّى إِنَّ طُيُورَ السَّمَاءِ تَأْتِي وَتَبِيتُ فِي أَغْصَانِهَا».
