For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
1Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy.
2For the Lord Most High is awesome,
the great King over all the earth.
3He subdued nations under us,
peoples under our feet.
4He chose our inheritance for us,
the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.47:4 The Hebrew has Selah (a word of uncertain meaning) here.
5God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.
6Sing praises to God, sing praises;
sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7For God is the King of all the earth;
sing to him a psalm of praise.
8God reigns over the nations;
God is seated on his holy throne.
9The nobles of the nations assemble
as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kings47:9 Or shields of the earth belong to God;
he is greatly exalted.

¡Aclamen a Dios con gritos de alegría!
2¡Cuán imponente es el Señor Altísimo,
el gran Rey de toda la tierra!
3Sometió a nuestro dominio las naciones;
puso a los pueblos bajo nuestros pies;
4escogió para nosotros una heredad
que es el orgullo de Jacob, a quien amó. Selah
5Dios el Señor ha ascendido
entre gritos de alegría y toques de trompeta.
6¡Canten, canten salmos a Dios!
¡Canten, canten salmos a nuestro rey!
7Dios es el rey de toda la tierra;
por eso, cántenle un salmo de alabanza.47:7 un salmo de alabanza. Lit. un masquil.
8Dios reina sobre las naciones;
Dios está sentado en su santo trono.
9Los nobles de los pueblos se reúnen
con el pueblo del Dios de Abraham,
pues de Dios son los imperios de la tierra.
