Psalm 130
A song of ascents.
1Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
2Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.
3If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,
Lord, who could stand?
4But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
5I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
6I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
8He himself will redeem Israel
from all their sins.

आराधना के लिए यात्रियों का गीत.
1याहवेह, गहराइयों में से मैं आपको पुकार रहा हूं;
2हे प्रभु, मेरा स्वर सुन लीजिए,
कृपा के लिए मेरी नम्र विनती की
ओर आपके कान लगे रहें.
3याहवेह, यदि आप अपराधों का लेखा रखने लगें,
तो प्रभु, कौन ठहर सकेगा?
4किंतु आप क्षमा शील हैं,
तब आप श्रद्धा के योग्य हैं.
5मुझे, मेरे प्राणों को, याहवेह की प्रतीक्षा रहती है,
उनके वचन पर मैंने आशा रखी है.
6मुझे प्रभु की प्रतीक्षा है
उन रखवालों से भी अधिक, जिन्हें सूर्योदय की प्रतीक्षा रहती है,
वस्तुतः उन रखवालों से कहीं अधिक जिन्हें भोर की प्रतीक्षा रहती है.
7इस्राएल, याहवेह पर भरोसा रखो,
क्योंकि जहां याहवेह हैं वहां करुणा-प्रेम भी है
और वही पूरा छुटकारा देनेवाले हैं.
8स्वयं वही इस्राएल को,
उनके अपराधों को क्षमा करेंगे.
