18Arphaxad was the father of Shelah,

and Shelah the father of Eber.

Descendants of Keturah

32The sons born to Keturah, Abraham’s concubine:

Sheba and Dedan.

Ephah, Epher, Hanok, Abida and Eldaah.

All these were descendants of Keturah.

Descendants of Sarah

34Abraham was the father of Isaac.

Esau and Israel.

The rulers of Edom

43These were the kings who reigned in Edom before any Israelite king reigned:

Bela son of Beor, whose city was named Dinhabah.

44When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah succeeded him as king.

45When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites succeeded him as king.

46When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, succeeded him as king. His city was named Avith.

47When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king.

48When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the river1:48 Possibly the Euphrates succeeded him as king.

49When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Akbor succeeded him as king.

50When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him as king. His city was named Pau,1:50 Many Hebrew manuscripts, some Septuagint manuscripts, Vulgate and Syriac (see also Gen. 36:39); most Hebrew manuscripts Pai and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab. 51Hadad also died.

The chiefs of Edom were:

Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 52Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 53Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54Magdiel and Iram.

These were the chiefs of Edom.

Скифы – первоначально так назывался древний кочевой народ, проживавший в северо-восточном Причерноморье и говоривший на языке, принадлежавшем к иранской группе индоевропейской семьи языков. Со временем скифами стали именовать все кочевые народы (включая саков), проживавшие севернее или восточнее так называемого цивилизованного мира того времени (см. Кол. 3:11)., Рифат и Тогарма.

19У Евера родилось двое сыновей:

одного звали Фалек («разделение»), потому что в его дни земля была разделена, а его брата – Иоктан.

20Иоктан был отцом

Алмодада, Шалефа, Хацармавета, Иераха, 21Адорама, Узала, Диклы, 22Овала, Авимаила, Шевы, 23Офира, Хавилы и Иовава. Все они были сыновьями Иоктана.

48После смерти Самлы царём вместо него стал Шаул из Реховота, что у реки1:48 Река – по-видимому, Евфрат..

49После смерти Шаула царём вместо него стал Баал-Ханан, сын Ахбора.

50После смерти Баал-Ханана царём вместо него стал Хадад. Его город назывался Пау, а имя его жены было Мехетавиль; она была дочерью Матреды, внучкой Мезахава. 51Потом умер и Хадад.

Вождями Эдома были:

Тимна, Алва, Иетет, 52Оливема, Ела, Пинон, 53Кеназ, Теман, Мивцар, 54Магдиил и Ирам. Это вожди Эдома.
