Concerning Spiritual Gifts
1Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. 3Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
4There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
7Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,12:10 Or languages; also in verse 28 and to still another the interpretation of tongues.12:10 Or languages; also in verse 28 11All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
Unity and Diversity in the Body
12Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13For we were all baptized by12:13 Or with; or in one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.
15Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
21The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
27Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. 29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues12:30 Or other languages? Do all interpret? 31Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.
Love Is Indispensable
And yet I will show you the most excellent way.
聖靈的恩賜

4恩賜各有不同，但聖靈是同一位。 5事奉各有不同，但主是同一位。 6工作各有不同，但上帝是同一位，祂在眾人當中成就萬事。 7聖靈給各人不同的恩賜為要使眾人得益處。 8這人從聖靈領受智慧的話，那人從聖靈領受知識； 9聖靈賜這人信心，賜那人醫病的恩賜； 10聖靈使這人能行神蹟，使那人能作先知講道；使這人能辨別諸靈，使那人能說方言12·10 「方言」或譯「語言」。，又使另一人能翻譯方言。 11這一切都是同一位聖靈所賜的，是祂按自己的旨意分別賜給各人的。
同屬一個身體
12這如同一個身體有許多肢體，肢體雖多，仍同屬一個身體。基督的身體也是這樣。 13不論是猶太人或希臘人，是奴隸或自由人，我們都領受了同一位聖靈的洗禮，歸入了同一個身體，同飲一位聖靈。
14人的身體並非只有一個肢體，而是由許多肢體組成的。 15如果腳說：「我不是手，所以我不屬於身體」，難道它就因此不屬於身體嗎？ 16如果耳朵說：「我不是眼睛，所以我不屬於身體，」難道它就因此不屬於身體嗎？ 17如果整個身體是一隻眼睛，哪裡有聽覺呢？如果整個身體是一隻耳朵，哪裡有嗅覺呢？
18其實，上帝按自己的旨意將各個肢體安置在身體上了。 19全身如果只有一個肢體，還會是身體嗎？ 20如今肢體雖多，但身體只有一個。 21眼睛不能對手說：「我不需要你。」頭也不能對腳說：「我不需要你。」
22相反，看起來不太重要的肢體其實是不可或缺的。 23我們認為身體上不體面的肢體，越要加以美化；不雅觀的肢體，越要精心呵護。 24我們身上體面的肢體用不著美化。上帝把身體的各肢體安排在一起，使那些不體面的肢體更體面， 25這樣身體各肢體才可以彼此相顧，不會分門別類。 26如果一個肢體感到痛苦，全身也一同受苦。如果一個肢體得到榮耀，全身也一同喜樂。
27你們就是基督的身體，並且各自都是身體的肢體。 28上帝在教會中設立的第一是使徒，第二是先知，第三是教師，其次是行神蹟的，然後是有醫病恩賜的，幫助別人的，管理事務的，說各種方言的。 29豈是都作使徒嗎？都作先知嗎？都作教師嗎？都行神蹟嗎？ 30都有醫病的恩賜嗎？都會說方言嗎？都會翻譯方言嗎？ 31你們應該熱心追求更大的恩賜。
