1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
1天使讓我看城內街道當中一道流淌著生命水的河，清澈如水晶，從上帝和羔羊的寶座那裡流出。 2河兩岸有結十二種果子的生命樹，每個月都結果子，葉子能醫治萬民。 3再也沒有咒詛，因為城裡有上帝和羔羊的寶座，祂的奴僕都要事奉祂。 4他們必見上帝的面，上帝的名字必印在他們的額上。 5再沒有黑夜，也不需要燈光和陽光，因為主上帝必作他們的光。他們要執掌王權直到永永遠遠。
基督的再來
6天使對我說：「這些話真實可靠。賜聖靈感動眾先知的主上帝已差遣祂的天使，將那些快要發生的事指示給祂的奴僕們。」
7「看啊，我快要來了。遵行這書中預言的人有福了！」
8以上都是我約翰親眼看見、親耳聽見的事。當我聽見、看見這些事後，就俯伏敬拜將這一切指示給我的天使。 9天使對我說：「千萬不可！我與你、你的眾先知弟兄和那些遵行這書上話語的人同是上帝的奴僕，你要敬拜上帝。」
10他又對我說：「不可封住這卷書上的預言，因為時候快到了。 11不義的，讓他繼續不義；污穢的，讓他繼續污穢；公義的，讓他保持公義；聖潔的，讓他保持聖潔。」
12「看啊，我快要來了，到時候我要按各人的行為施行賞罰。 13我是阿拉法，我是俄梅加；我是首先的，我是末後的；我是開始，我是終結。 14那些洗淨自己衣裳的人有福了！他們有權吃生命樹的果子，也可以從城門進入城中。 15那些如同惡犬的敗類、行邪術的、淫亂的、殺人的、拜偶像的和一切喜歡弄虛作假的，都要被拒之城外。 16我耶穌差遣我的天使到眾教會，向你們證明這些事。我是大衛的根，也是大衛的後裔，又是明亮的晨星。」
17聖靈和新娘都說：「來吧！」聽見的也要說：「來吧！」口渴的，讓他來吧！願意的，讓他白白享用生命水吧！
警告
18我鄭重警告所有聽見這書上預言的人：如果誰在這書上增添什麼，上帝必將這書上所記載的災禍加在他身上； 19如果有人從這預言書上刪減什麼，上帝必使他無份於這書上所記載的生命樹和聖城。
20那位證明這些事的說：「是的，我快要來了。」阿們！主耶穌啊，我願你來！
21願主耶穌的恩典與眾聖徒同在。阿們！
