Offerings for the Tabernacle
1The Lord said to Moses, 2“Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from everyone whose heart prompts them to give. 3These are the offerings you are to receive from them: gold, silver and bronze; 4blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; 5ram skins dyed red and another type of durable leather25:5 Possibly the hides of large aquatic mammals; acacia wood; 6olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 7and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.
8“Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them. 9Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you.
The Ark
10“Have them make an ark25:10 That is, a chest of acacia wood—two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.25:10 That is, about 3 3/4 feet long and 2 1/4 feet wide and high or about 1.1 meters long and 68 centimeters wide and high; similarly in verse 17 11Overlay it with pure gold, both inside and out, and make a gold molding around it. 12Cast four gold rings for it and fasten them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other. 13Then make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 14Insert the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it. 15The poles are to remain in the rings of this ark; they are not to be removed. 16Then put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law, which I will give you.
17“Make an atonement cover of pure gold—two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. 18And make two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover. 19Make one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; make the cherubim of one piece with the cover, at the two ends. 20The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover. 21Place the cover on top of the ark and put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law that I will give you. 22There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites.
The Table
23“Make a table of acacia wood—two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high.25:23 That is, about 3 feet long, 1 1/2 feet wide and 2 1/4 feet high or about 90 centimeters long, 45 centimeters wide and 68 centimeters high 24Overlay it with pure gold and make a gold molding around it. 25Also make around it a rim a handbreadth25:25 That is, about 3 inches or about 7.5 centimeters wide and put a gold molding on the rim. 26Make four gold rings for the table and fasten them to the four corners, where the four legs are. 27The rings are to be close to the rim to hold the poles used in carrying the table. 28Make the poles of acacia wood, overlay them with gold and carry the table with them. 29And make its plates and dishes of pure gold, as well as its pitchers and bowls for the pouring out of offerings. 30Put the bread of the Presence on this table to be before me at all times.
The Lampstand
31“Make a lampstand of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them. 32Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand—three on one side and three on the other. 33Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand. 34And on the lampstand there are to be four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms. 35One bud shall be under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair—six branches in all. 36The buds and branches shall all be of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.
37“Then make its seven lamps and set them up on it so that they light the space in front of it. 38Its wick trimmers and trays are to be of pure gold. 39A talent25:39 That is, about 75 pounds or about 34 kilograms of pure gold is to be used for the lampstand and all these accessories. 40See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.
Las ofrendas para el santuario
25:1-7 – Éx 35:4-9
1El Señor habló con Moisés y le dijo: 2«Ordénales a los israelitas que me traigan una ofrenda. La deben presentar todos los que sientan deseos de traérmela.
3»Como ofrenda se les aceptará lo siguiente:
»oro, plata, bronce,
4lana color azul, carmesí y escarlata, tela de lino fino,
pelo de cabra,
5pieles de carnero teñidas de rojo, pieles finas,
madera de acacia,
6aceite de oliva para las lámparas,
especias para el aceite de la unción y para el incienso aromático;
7también piedras de ónice y otras piedras preciosas para montarlas en el efod y en el pectoral del sacerdote.
8»Después me harán un santuario, para que yo habite entre ustedes. 9El santuario y todo su mobiliario deberán ser una réplica exacta del modelo que yo te mostraré.
El arca
25:10-20 – Éx 37:1-9
10»Haz25:10 Haz (LXX y Pentateuco Samaritano); Hagan ustedes (TM). un arca de madera de acacia, de dos codos y medio de largo, un codo y medio de ancho, y un codo y medio de alto.25:10 Es decir, aprox. 1 m de largo, 68 cm de ancho y 68 cm de alto; también en v. 17. 11Por dentro y por fuera recúbrela de oro puro y ponle en su derredor una moldura de oro. 12Funde cuatro anillos de oro para colocarlos en sus cuatro patas, colocando dos anillos en un lado y dos en el otro. 13Prepara luego unas varas de madera de acacia y recúbrelas de oro. 14Introduce las varas en los anillos que van a los costados del arca, para transportarla. 15Deja las varas en los anillos del arca y no las saques de allí, 16entonces pon dentro del arca las tablas del pacto que voy a entregarte.
17»Hazle al arca una tapa de oro puro, de dos codos y medio de largo por un codo y medio de ancho, 18y para los dos extremos de la tapa del arca harás dos querubines de oro trabajado a martillo. 19En cada uno de los extremos irá un querubín. Hazlos de modo que formen una sola pieza con la tapa del arca.
20»Los querubines deberán tener las alas extendidas por encima de la tapa del arca y cubrirla con ellas. Quedarán el uno frente al otro, mirando hacia la tapa del arca.
21»Coloca la tapa encima del arca y pon dentro de ella las tablas del pacto que voy a entregarte. 22Yo me reuniré allí contigo en medio de los dos querubines que están sobre el arca donde están las tablas del pacto. Desde la parte superior de la tapa del arca te daré todas las instrucciones que habrás de comunicarles a los israelitas.
La mesa
25:23-29 – Éx 37:10-16
23»Haz una mesa de madera de acacia de dos codos de largo por un codo de ancho y un codo y medio de alto.25:23 Es decir, aprox. 90 cm de largo, 45 cm de ancho y 68 cm de alto. 24Recúbrela de oro puro y ponle alrededor una moldura de oro. 25Haz también un reborde de un palmo25:25 Es decir, un palmo menor, aprox. 7.5 cm. de ancho, y una moldura de oro para ponerla alrededor del reborde.
26»Haz cuatro anillos de oro para la mesa y sujétalos a sus cuatro esquinas, donde van las cuatro patas. 27Los anillos deben quedar junto al reborde para pasar por ellos las varas empleadas para transportar la mesa.
28»Esas varas deben ser de madera de acacia y estar recubiertas de oro. 29También deben ser de oro puro sus platos y sus bandejas, así como sus jarras y tazones para verter las ofrendas líquidas. 30Sobre la mesa pondrás el pan de la Presencia, para que esté ante mí siempre.
El candelabro
25:31-39 – Éx 37:17-24
31»Haz un candelabro de oro puro trabajado a martillo. Su base, su tallo, y sus copas, cálices y flores, formarán una sola pieza. 32De los costados del candelabro saldrán seis brazos, tres de un lado y tres del otro. 33Cada uno de los seis brazos del candelabro tendrá tres copas en forma de flores de almendro, con cálices y pétalos. 34El candelabro mismo tendrá cuatro copas en forma de flor de almendro, con cálices y pétalos. 35Debajo del primer par de brazos que salen del candelabro habrá un cáliz; debajo del segundo par de brazos habrá un segundo cáliz y debajo del tercer par de brazos habrá un tercer cáliz —seis brazos en total. 36Los cálices y los brazos deben formar una sola pieza con el candelabro y ser de oro puro trabajado a martillo.
37»Hazle también sus siete lámparas y colócalas de tal modo que alumbren hacia el frente. 38Sus cortapabilos y braseros deben ser de oro puro. 39Para hacer el candelabro y todos estos accesorios se usará un talento25:39 Es decir, aprox. 34 kg. de oro puro.
40»Asegúrate de hacerlo todo según el modelo que se te mostró en el monte.
