Dealing With a Case of Incest
1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife. 2And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning and have put out of your fellowship the man who has been doing this? 3For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus on the one who has been doing this. 4So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present, 5hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh,5:5 In contexts like this, the Greek word for flesh (sarx) refers to the sinful state of human beings, often presented as a power in opposition to the Spirit.5:5 Or of his body so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.
6Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough? 7Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister5:11 The Greek word for brother or sister (adelphos) refers here to a believer, whether man or woman, as part of God’s family; also in 8:11, 13. but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
12What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”5:13 Deut. 13:5; 17:7; 19:19; 21:21; 22:21,24; 24:7
清除淫乱之罪
1我听说在你们当中竟有人与继母乱伦。这种淫乱的事，就是连异教徒都做不出来。 2你们竟然还自高自大！难道你们不该痛心，把做这事的人从你们当中赶出去吗？ 3现在，我虽然身在远方，心却在你们那里。我已经审判了做这事的人，就像亲自在场一样。 4你们奉我们主耶稣的名聚会时，我的心并我们主耶稣的权能也与你们同在。 5你们要把这人交给撒旦去毁坏他的肉体，好使这人的灵魂在主耶稣再来的日子可以得救。
6你们自夸不是好事，岂不知一点面酵能使整团面发起来吗？ 7你们要把旧酵除掉，好成为真正无酵的新面团，因为我们逾越节的羔羊基督已经被献为祭了。 8所以，我们不可带着歹毒邪恶的旧酵守这逾越节，而要用纯洁真诚的无酵饼。
9我以前曾经写信吩咐你们，不可与淫乱的人交往。 10我的意思并不是指世上所有淫乱、贪婪、欺诈与祭拜偶像的人。那样的话，你们将不得不离开这个世界。 11我的意思是，若有人自称是信徒，却淫乱、贪婪、祭拜偶像、毁谤、酗酒、欺诈，你们不要和他们交往，甚至不要和他们一起吃饭。
12审判教会以外的人与我何干？然而，教会里面的人岂不是该由你们审判吗？ 13上帝自会审判教会以外的人，你们要把那邪恶的人从你们当中赶出去。5:13 申命记13:15；17:7；19:19；21:21；22:21、24；24:7。
