What happened when a teenager from Skyesville, Maryland decided to share the gospel using a biblical resource produced in partnership with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)?
A life was transformed.
South Carroll High School student Doug Pickett received his copy of 21.5 Days with God when he attended a Fields of Faith event, put on by Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Doug took seriously the book’s challenge to pick three non-Christian friends and begin praying for them, that they would come to know Christ as their savior.
One of the friends Doug chose was Taylor, a member of his basketball team. “I began praying for them, that they would come to know Christ,” Doug says, “and that God would use me as a witness to them.”
Doug and Taylor had been friends since elementary school. One day, Doug felt God calling him to say something, so he gave Taylor a copy of 21.5 Days with God and invited him to read it.
Doug’s invitation, combined with the power God’s Word, sparked life-transforming effect for Taylor. Watch (and share!) this video to get the rest of their story.
Please join with us in praying that God will use 21.5 Days With God to reach even more high school students with the good news about Jesus.
We’re thrilled to partner with like-minded ministries such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Life to share the gospel and help students grow in God’s Word. We’d love to partner with you, too! Together, we can reach even more young people with the gospel. Learn more
