A Word from Geof

Dear Friend,

As you look at the news and the wounded world around us, you may be wondering:

How can a suicidal teenager find hope and purpose?

How can children in closed Islamic nations ever have the chance to hear about Christ?

How can abused women hope to have their dignity restored?

As I consider these questions, my mind turns to Jesus’ words in Matthew 19:26 (NIV):

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

As you read the articles of this newsletter, you’ll see this glorious truth in action!

I know you’ll be inspired as Susan shares how she’s moved from despair to determination. Catch her story in article 1, where she says that as God’s Word “seeped” into her mind and soul, she gave her life to Christ!

Then in article 3, discover how you can ensure that unreached children in West Africa’s Islamic nations have the hope of encountering Christ for the first time.

I even had a recent opportunity to visit India and see firsthand God’s Word changing so many lives of the “untouchables” through sports ministry shown in the photo above. And don’t miss article 4 how you’re giving the most vulnerable women and girls in that same country the chance to find restoration in Jesus…

… And it’s all through the power of God’s Word!

I’m sure, like me, you’re captivated and awe-struck by all that God is doing through your partnership – as you see how He’s at work through the Bibles you provide. It’s mind-blowing!

But actually, we shouldn’t be surprised – because as Jesus reminds us, nothing is impossible for our great God.

Let’s keep that truth in mind as we continue praying for the ambitious Imagine translation initiative that’s under way right now – as together we seek to open up God’s Word in languages spoken by a staggering 3.6 billion people!

Thank you for your prayers and generosity, which He’s using to make all things possible!
