A Child’s Bond, A Parent’s Love

Hey Friends,

Hey Friends,

Praying that all is well with you and that those who celebrated, had a wonderful Mother’s Day. It was most certainly different, but we are grateful for the ability to have had the time to spend with family.

We had so much fun chatting with you all about relationships this past Saturday. Relationships touch every part of our lives, so we must work on them if we want them to thrive. Spending all our time at home with family has tested many of our relationships. I will say, we have been navigating our relationships through prayer and healthy communication.

Looking ahead to Saturday, we want to talk about one of life’s biggest blessings, the unbreakable relationship between you and a child – parenting. Parenting is not only about your child, but also the unique dynamic between you and your spouse as a parenting unit.

We don’t think it is by chance that those who have strayed from home, have traveled far and wide to return home to their family during this pandemic. Your relationship with your child is unbreakable.

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” We have heard this verse many times, but it stands tried and true. God has shown us that he controls all things and you cannot “unlearn” something when it is placed in your heart.

Let us use Saturday to talk about the highs and lows of parenting and what God says about it. We look forward to seeing you Saturday!

God Bless!
