Easter: The Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Passover is a solemn feast that celebrates the freedom of the Hebrew people from the bondage of Egypt, recounted in the book of Exodus. A traditional family banquet consisting of a series of home rituals, such as the Passover Seder (Ex. 12,1-14), commemorates the release from captivity of the Jews, led by Moses.

Remember the “Do Not Fear” of God

Every time we start a new year, we say that there are 365 new opportunities to do good things, to carry out kindness and to show mercy to others. But sometimes, when the year ends, instead of being excited about the future, we’re fearful. We examine the past days and can be engulfed by failures and fatigue. We may feel overwhelmed by disappointment. Instead of seizing new opportunities, we become immobilized by fear.

Let Us Celebrate Our God!

As fervent followers of Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, we celebrate the Lord’s amazing work. And as we do, our very lives become the fruit of celebration, bringing more and even greater celebrating.
