1พระดำรัสขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้ามาถึงข้าพเจ้าความว่า 2“บุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงเผยพระวจนะกล่าวโทษบรรดาผู้เผยพระวจนะของอิสราเอลซึ่งกำลังพยากรณ์อยู่ตอนนี้ จงกล่าวแก่ผู้ที่พยากรณ์ตามความคิดฝันของตนว่า ‘จงฟังพระดำรัสขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า! 3พระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตตรัสดังนี้ว่า วิบัติแก่ผู้เผยพระวจนะที่โฉดเขลา13:3 หรือชั่วร้าย ซึ่งทำตามอำเภอใจของตนเอง และไม่ได้เห็นนิมิตอะไร! 4อิสราเอลเอ๋ย ผู้เผยพระวจนะของเจ้าเหมือนหมาในที่อยู่ท่ามกลางกองปรักหักพัง 5พวกเจ้าไม่ได้ปีนขึ้นไปซ่อมรอยแยกในกำแพงให้แก่พงศ์พันธุ์อิสราเอลเพื่อมันจะได้มั่นคงแน่นหนาพร้อมสำหรับการรบในวันขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า 6นิมิตของพวกเขาจอมปลอมและคำทำนายของพวกเขาก็เป็นคำโกหก เขาพูดว่า “องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าประกาศว่า” ทั้งๆ ที่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าไม่ได้ใช้เขาเลย ถึงกระนั้นเขาก็ยังคาดหวังว่าจะเป็นไปตามถ้อยคำของตน 7เจ้าไม่ได้เห็นนิมิตจอมปลอมและกล่าวคำทำนายโกหกพกลมหรือ? เมื่อเจ้าพูดว่า “องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าประกาศว่า” ทั้งๆ ที่เราไม่ได้พูด
8“ ‘ฉะนั้นพระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราจะจัดการกับเจ้าเนื่องด้วยคำโป้ปดและนิมิตจอมปลอมของเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตประกาศดังนั้น 9มือของเราจะต่อสู้กับบรรดาผู้เผยพระวจนะที่เห็นนิมิตจอมปลอมและกล่าวคำทำนายโกหก พวกเขาจะไม่ได้เข้าร่วมสภาประชาชนของเราหรือขึ้นทะเบียนสำมะโนพงศ์พันธุ์อิสราเอล ทั้งจะไม่ได้เข้าสู่ดินแดนอิสราเอล แล้วพวกเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิต
10“ ‘ทั้งนี้เพราะพวกเขาชักจูงประชากรของเราให้หลงเตลิดไปโดยกล่าวว่า “สันติสุข” ทั้งๆ ที่ไม่มีสันติสุข และเพราะพวกเขาฉาบปูนขาวทับกำแพงอันเปราะบางที่ถูกสร้างขึ้น 11ฉะนั้นจงบอกผู้ฉาบปูนขาวเหล่านั้นว่า กำแพงนั้นกำลังจะทลายลง ฝนจะตกลงมาห่าใหญ่ และเราจะส่งลูกเห็บซัดกระหน่ำ และพายุกล้าพัดโหม 12เมื่อกำแพงพังครืนลง ประชากรจะไม่ถามเจ้าหรือว่า “ไหนล่ะปูนขาวที่ท่านฉาบทับ?”
13“ ‘ฉะนั้นพระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตจึงตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราจะปล่อยพายุใหญ่ด้วยความโกรธของเรา ลูกเห็บและห่าฝนจะกระหน่ำลงมาอย่างหนักด้วยโทสะของเรา 14เราจะทลายกำแพงซึ่งเจ้าฉาบปูนขาวทับไว้ และมันจะพังราบลงกับพื้นจนมองเห็นฐานรากของมัน เมื่อมัน13:14 หรือนครนั้นทลายลง เจ้าจะพินาศอยู่ในนั้น แล้วเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์ 15ดังนั้นเราจะระบายความโกรธแก่กำแพง และแก่พวกที่ฉาบมันไว้ด้วยปูนขาว เราจะกล่าวแก่เจ้าว่า “กำแพงพังพินาศไปแล้ว และพวกที่ฉาบปูนขาวก็เช่นกัน 16คือบรรดาผู้เผยพระวจนะของอิสราเอลซึ่งพยากรณ์แก่เยรูซาเล็มและเห็นนิมิตแห่งสันติสุขในเยรูซาเล็ม ทั้งๆ ที่ไม่มีสันติสุขเลย พระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตประกาศดังนั้น” ’
17“บัดนี้บุตรมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงตั้งตนเป็นศัตรูกับบรรดาบุตรสาวของชนชาติของเจ้า ผู้ซึ่งพยากรณ์ตามจินตนาการของตน จงเผยพระวจนะต่อต้านพวกเขา 18และกล่าวว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตตรัสดังนี้ว่า วิบัติแก่หญิงที่เย็บเครื่องรางของขลังไว้รัดข้อมือ และทำผ้าคลุมหน้าขนาดต่างๆ เพื่อดักล่อประชาชน เจ้าจะลวงชีวิตประชากรของเราไปติดกับ แต่สงวนชีวิตของตนเองไว้หรือ? 19เจ้าลบหลู่ดูหมิ่นเราในหมู่ประชากรเพราะเห็นแก่ข้าวบาร์เลย์เพียงสองสามกำมือกับเศษขนมปัง เจ้าได้ฆ่าเหล่าประชากรของเราที่ไม่สมควรตายและไว้ชีวิตคนที่ไม่สมควรอยู่โดยการโกหกประชากรเหล่านั้นซึ่งเป็นผู้ที่ฟังคำเท็จ
20“ ‘ฉะนั้นพระยาห์เวห์องค์เจ้าชีวิตตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราต่อสู้กับเครื่องรางของขลังต่างๆ ที่เจ้าใช้ดักล่อประชากรไว้เหมือนดักนก เราจะฉีกเครื่องรางของขลังออกจากแขนของเจ้า เราจะปลดปล่อยประชากรซึ่งเจ้าดักไว้เหมือนดักนก 21เราจะฉีกผ้าคลุมหน้าของเจ้าออก และช่วยประชากรของเราให้พ้นจากเงื้อมมือของเจ้า เขาจะไม่ตกเป็นเหยื่ออยู่ในอำนาจของเจ้าอีกต่อไป แล้วเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์ 22ทั้งนี้เพราะคำโกหกของเจ้าบั่นทอนกำลังใจของผู้ชอบธรรมทั้งๆ ที่เราไม่ได้นำความเศร้าโศกมาให้เขา และเพราะเจ้าสนับสนุนคนชั่วให้คงอยู่ในทางอันชั่วร้ายของเขาเพื่อเป็นการรักษาชีวิตของพวกเขาไว้ 23ฉะนั้นเจ้าจะไม่ได้เห็นนิมิตจอมปลอมหรือทำนายได้อีก เราจะช่วยประชากรของเราให้พ้นจากเงื้อมมือของเจ้า แล้วเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์’ ”
1And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;13.2 that prophesy out…: Heb. that are prophets out of their own hearts 3Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!13.3 follow: Heb. walk after13.3 and…: or, and things which they have not seen 4O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. 5Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.13.5 gaps: or, breaches13.5 made…: Heb. hedged the hedge 6They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. 7Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken? 8Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD. 9And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.13.9 assembly: or, secret, or, counsel
10¶ Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:13.10 a wall: or, a slight wall 11Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. 12Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it? 13Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it. 14So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 15Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it; 16To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.
17¶ Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them, 18And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?13.18 armholes: or, elbows 19And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? 20Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.13.20 to make…: or, into gardens 21Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 22Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:13.22 by…: or, that I should save his life: Heb. by quickening him 23Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
