1ข้าพเจ้าร้องทูลขอให้พระเจ้าทรงช่วย
ข้าพเจ้าร้องทูลให้พระเจ้าทรงสดับฟัง
2ยามทุกข์ยาก ข้าพเจ้าแสวงหาองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
ยามค่ำคืนข้าพเจ้าชูมือวิงวอนไม่อ่อนล้า
จิตวิญญาณของข้าพเจ้าไม่ยอมรับการปลอบประโลม
3ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ข้าพระองค์ระลึกถึงพระองค์ และร้องคร่ำครวญ
ข้าพระองค์ครุ่นคิดและจิตวิญญาณของข้าพระองค์อ่อนระโหยไป

4พระองค์ทรงทำให้ตาของข้าพระองค์ไม่อาจปิดลงได้
ข้าพระองค์ทนทุกข์จนพูดไม่ออก
5ข้าพระองค์คิดถึงวันคืนที่ผ่านมา
ปีเดือนซึ่งล่วงเลยมานานแล้ว
6ข้าพระองค์นึกถึงบทเพลงที่ร้องในยามค่ำคืน
จิตใจของข้าพระองค์ครุ่นคิดและจิตวิญญาณก็เสาะหา
7“องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะทรงทอดทิ้งตลอดไปหรือ?
พระองค์จะไม่ทรงโปรดปรานอีกเลยหรือ?
8ความรักมั่นคงของพระองค์สูญสิ้นไปเป็นนิตย์แล้วหรือ?
พระสัญญาของพระองค์ล้มเลิกไปตลอดกาลหรือ?
9พระเจ้าทรงลืมที่จะเมตตากรุณาแล้วหรือ?
พระองค์ทรงระงับความสงสารเพราะพิโรธแล้วหรือ?”

10แล้วข้าพเจ้าก็คิดว่า “ข้าพเจ้าจะร้องอุทธรณ์ในเรื่องนี้
คือเรื่องปีเดือนที่องค์ผู้สูงสุดทรงสำแดงฤทธานุภาพแห่งพระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์”77:10 หรือแล้วข้าพเจ้าก็คิดว่า “สิ่งนี้แหละที่ทำให้ข้าพเจ้าเจ็บปวด / คือองค์ผู้สูงสุดไม่ทรงสำแดงฤทธานุภาพแห่งพระหัตถ์ขวาอีกแล้ว”
11ข้าพเจ้าจะระลึกถึงพระราชกิจทั้งปวงขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
ข้าพเจ้าจะระลึกถึงการอัศจรรย์ต่างๆ ของพระองค์ในครั้งเก่าก่อน
12ข้าพเจ้าจะใคร่ครวญถึงพระราชกิจทั้งสิ้นของพระองค์
และตรึกตรองพระราชกิจอันเกรียงไกรทั้งปวงของพระองค์
13ข้าแต่พระเจ้า พระมรรคาของพระองค์บริสุทธิ์
พระใดเล่ายิ่งใหญ่เสมอเหมือนพระเจ้าของเรา?
14พระองค์ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าผู้ทรงกระทำการอัศจรรย์
ทรงสำแดงเดชานุภาพท่ามกลางชนชาติต่างๆ
15โดยพระกรอันเกรียงไกร พระองค์ทรงไถ่ประชากรของพระองค์
คือวงศ์วานยาโคบและโยเซฟ

16เมื่อห้วงน้ำเห็นพระองค์ ข้าแต่พระเจ้า
ห้วงน้ำเห็นพระองค์ก็คร้ามกลัว
ห้วงลึกก็สะทกสะท้าน
17เมฆเทฝนลงมา ท้องฟ้ากึกก้องคำราม
ลูกศรของพระองค์แวบวาบไปมา
18เสียงฟ้าร้องของพระองค์ดังมาจากพายุหมุน
ฟ้าแลบจุดประกายสว่างแก่พิภพ
ปฐพีก็สั่นสะเทือนและหวั่นไหว
19พระมรรคาของพระองค์ผ่านทะเล
ทางของพระองค์ผ่านห้วงน้ำหลาก
แม้ไม่เห็นรอยพระบาทของพระองค์
20พระองค์ทรงนำประชากรของพระองค์ไปดั่งฝูงแกะ
โดยมือของโมเสสและอาโรน

9Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
10And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.
11I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
12I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
13Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
14Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.
15Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
16The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
17The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.77.17 poured…: Heb. were poured forth with water
18The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
19Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
20Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
