1ขอองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงตอบท่านในยามทุกข์โศก
ขอพระนามของพระเจ้าแห่งยาโคบคุ้มครองท่าน
2ขอพระองค์ประทานความช่วยเหลือแก่ท่านจากสถานนมัสการ
ขอประทานการค้ำชูมาจากศิโยน
3ขอพระองค์ทรงระลึกถึงเครื่องบูชาทั้งปวงที่ท่านถวาย
และทรงรับเครื่องเผาบูชาของท่าน

4ขอพระองค์ทรงประทานแก่ท่านตามใจปรารถนา
และขอทรงทำให้แผนงานทั้งสิ้นของท่านสำเร็จ
5ขอให้เราโห่ร้องยินดีเพราะชัยชนะของท่าน
และชูธงในพระนามพระเจ้าของเรา
ขอองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงตอบคำอธิษฐานของท่านทุกประการ
6บัดนี้ข้าพเจ้าทราบว่าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงช่วยผู้ที่ทรงเจิมตั้งไว้
พระองค์ทรงตอบเขาจากฟ้าสวรรค์อันบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์
ด้วยฤทธานุภาพในการช่วยกู้จากพระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์
7บางคนไว้วางใจในรถรบ บางคนไว้วางใจในม้า
แต่พวกเราไว้วางใจในพระนามพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของเรา
8เขาเหล่านั้นจะล้มลงพ่ายแพ้
แต่พวกเราจะลุกขึ้นและยืนหยัดมั่นคง
9ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ขอทรงช่วยกู้องค์กษัตริย์!
