1ข้าพเจ้าร้องทูลองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าด้วยเสียงดัง
ข้าพเจ้าเปล่งเสียงทูลวิงวอนขอความเมตตาจากองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
2ข้าพเจ้าระบายความทุกข์ยากต่อหน้าพระองค์
ต่อหน้าพระองค์ ข้าพเจ้าทูลความเดือดร้อนของข้าพเจ้า
3เมื่อจิตวิญญาณของข้าพระองค์หดหู่อยู่ภายในข้าพระองค์
พระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้ทราบทางของข้าพระองค์
บนเส้นทางที่ข้าพระองค์เดินไป
คนได้ซ่อนบ่วงแร้วดักข้าพระองค์
4มองไปทางขวา
ไม่มีใครเหลียวแลข้าพระองค์
ข้าพระองค์ไร้ที่พึ่ง
ไม่มีใครห่วงใยชีวิตของข้าพระองค์
5ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ข้าพระองค์ร้องทูลพระองค์ว่า
“พระองค์ทรงเป็นที่ลี้ภัยของข้าพระองค์
เป็นส่วนมรดกของข้าพระองค์ในดินแดนของคนเป็น”
6ขอทรงสดับฟังเสียงร่ำร้องของข้าพระองค์
เพราะข้าพระองค์อับจนยิ่งนัก
ขอทรงช่วยกู้ข้าพระองค์จากผู้ไล่ล่า
เพราะเขาแข็งแกร่งเกินกำลังของข้าพระองค์
7ขอทรงปลดปล่อยข้าพระองค์จากการจองจำ
เพื่อข้าพระองค์จะสรรเสริญพระนามของพระองค์
แล้วคนชอบธรรมจะห้อมล้อมข้าพระองค์
เพราะความดีของพระองค์ที่ทรงมีต่อข้าพระองค์
