(บทประพันธ์ของดาวิด)
1ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ข้าพระองค์จะสรรเสริญพระองค์หมดหัวใจ
จะร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระองค์ต่อหน้า “พระทั้งปวง”
2ข้าพระองค์จะน้อมกราบตรงมายังพระวิหารศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของพระองค์
และสรรเสริญพระนามของพระองค์
เพราะความรักมั่นคงและความซื่อสัตย์ของพระองค์
เพราะพระองค์ทรงเชิดชูพระนามและพระวจนะของพระองค์เหนือสรรพสิ่ง
3เมื่อข้าพระองค์ร้องทูล พระองค์ทรงตอบ
พระองค์ทรงทำให้ข้าพระองค์เด็ดเดี่ยวและกล้าหาญ
4ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ขอให้กษัตริย์ทั่วโลกสรรเสริญพระองค์
เมื่อพวกเขาได้ยินพระวจนะจากพระโอษฐ์ของพระองค์
5ขอให้พวกเขาขับร้องถึงวิถีทางขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
เพราะพระเกียรติสิริขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้ายิ่งใหญ่
6แม้องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงสูงส่งยิ่งนัก พระองค์ยังทรงเหลียวแลคนต่ำต้อย
แต่พระองค์ทรงสังเกตเห็นคนหยิ่งยโสแต่ไกล
7แม้ข้าพระองค์เดินอยู่ท่ามกลางความทุกข์ลำเค็ญ
พระองค์ยังทรงรักษาชีวิตของข้าพระองค์ไว้
พระองค์ทรงเหยียดพระหัตถ์ออกต่อสู้ความเกรี้ยวกราดของศัตรูของข้าพระองค์
พระองค์ทรงช่วยกู้ข้าพระองค์ด้วยพระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์
8องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะทรงกระทำให้สำเร็จตามความมุ่งหมายของพระองค์ที่มีต่อข้าพระองค์
ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ความรักของพระองค์ดำรงนิรันดร์
ขออย่าทรงละทิ้งพระหัตถกิจทั้งหลายของพระองค์
A Psalm of David.
1I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
