สดุดี 1010 สดุดี 10 เดิมทีสดุดีบทที่ 9 และ 10 อาจจะเป็นบทประพันธ์บทเดียวกัน โดยแต่ละท่อนเริ่มต้นด้วยตัวอักษรฮีบรูเรียงตามลำดับ ในพระคัมภีร์เดิมฉบับภาษากรีกถือว่าเป็นบทเดียวกัน

“พระองค์จะไม่ทรงเอาเรื่องเรา”?
14แต่พระเจ้าทรงเห็นความเดือดร้อนของผู้ที่ทุกข์ลำเค็ญ

พระองค์ทรงให้กำลังใจพวกเขาและทรงฟังเสียงร่ำร้องของพวกเขา
18ทรงปกป้องลูกกำพร้าพ่อและผู้ที่ถูกกดขี่ข่มเหง
เพื่อว่ามนุษย์ซึ่งเป็นของโลกนี้จะไม่ทำให้หวาดกลัวอีกต่อไป
