การหย่าร้าง
(มก.10:1-12)
1เมื่อพระเยซูตรัสถ้อยคำเหล่านี้จบก็เสด็จจากแคว้นกาลิลีเข้าไปในเขตยูเดียอีกฟากหนึ่งของแม่น้ำจอร์แดน 2ฝูงชนกลุ่มใหญ่ติดตามพระองค์มาและพระองค์ทรงรักษาพวกเขาที่นั่น
3พวกฟาริสีบางคนมาทดสอบพระองค์ พวกเขาทูลถามว่า “ผิดบัญญัติหรือไม่ที่ผู้ชายจะขอหย่าภรรยาเพราะเหตุหนึ่งเหตุใดก็ตาม?”
4พระองค์ทรงตอบว่า “ท่านไม่ได้อ่านหรือที่ว่าในปฐมกาลพระผู้สร้าง ‘ทรงสร้างพวกเขาเป็นผู้ชายและผู้หญิง’19:4 ปฐก.1:27 5และกล่าวว่า ‘เพราะเหตุนี้ผู้ชายจะละจากบิดามารดาของตนไปผูกพันเป็นหนึ่งเดียวกับภรรยาและทั้งสองจะเป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน’?19:5 ปฐก.2:24 6ดังนั้นเขาจึงไม่ได้เป็นสองอีกต่อไปแต่เป็นหนึ่งเดียว ฉะนั้นที่พระเจ้าทรงผูกพันเข้าด้วยกันแล้วอย่าให้มนุษย์มาพรากจากกันเลย”
7พวกเขาทูลว่า “ก็แล้วทำไมโมเสสสั่งให้ผู้ชายทำหนังสือหย่าและให้ภรรยาไปได้?”
8พระเยซูตรัสว่า “โมเสสอนุญาตให้ท่านหย่าภรรยาของท่านเพราะใจของท่านทั้งหลายแข็งกระด้าง แต่ไม่ได้เป็นเช่นนี้ตั้งแต่ต้น 9เราบอกท่านว่าผู้ใดหย่าภรรยาของตนด้วยเหตุอื่นๆ ยกเว้นการผิดศีลธรรมทางเพศ แล้วไปแต่งงานกับหญิงอื่น ชายผู้นั้นก็ล่วงประเวณี”
10เหล่าสาวกทูลว่า “ถ้าสภาพระหว่างสามีและภรรยาเป็นอย่างนี้ก็อย่าแต่งงานเลยดีกว่า”
11พระเยซูทรงตอบว่า “ไม่ใช่ทุกคนที่รับข้อนี้ได้เว้นแต่บรรดาผู้ที่ประทานให้ 12เพราะบางคนก็เกิดมาเป็นขันที บางคนก็ถูกมนุษย์ทำให้เป็นเช่นนั้น และที่ครองตัวเป็นโสด19:12 หรือได้ทำตัวเป็นขันทีเพื่ออาณาจักรสวรรค์ก็มี ใครยอมรับเช่นนี้ได้ก็จงรับเถิด”
พระเยซูกับเด็กเล็กๆ
(มก.10:13-16; ลก.18:15-17)
13แล้วมีผู้พาเด็กเล็กๆ มาหาพระเยซูเพื่อให้วางพระหัตถ์และอธิษฐานเผื่อ แต่เหล่าสาวกตำหนิผู้ที่พาเด็กๆ มา
14พระเยซูตรัสว่า “จงให้เด็กเล็กๆ มาหาเรา อย่าขัดขวางเขาเลย เพราะอาณาจักรสวรรค์เป็นของคนที่เป็นเหมือนเด็กเหล่านี้” 15เมื่อพระองค์ทรงวางพระหัตถ์บนพวกเขาแล้วก็เสด็จไปจากที่นั่น
เศรษฐีหนุ่ม
(มก.10:17-30; ลก.18:18-30)
16ชายคนหนึ่งมาทูลถามพระเยซูว่า “ท่านอาจารย์ ข้าพเจ้าจะต้องทำดีอะไรบ้างจึงจะได้ชีวิตนิรันดร์?”
17พระเยซูทรงตอบว่า “เหตุใดท่านจึงมาถามเราว่าอะไรดี? มีอยู่เพียงผู้เดียวที่ดี หากท่านปรารถนาจะเข้าสู่ชีวิต จงเชื่อฟังบทบัญญัติ”
18เขาทูลว่า “ข้อไหนบ้าง?”
พระเยซูตรัสว่า “ ‘อย่าฆ่าคน อย่าล่วงประเวณีอย่าลักขโมย อย่าเป็นพยานเท็จ 19จงให้เกียรติบิดามารดาของเจ้า’19:19 อพย.20:12-16ฉธบ.5:16-20 และ ‘จงรักเพื่อนบ้านเหมือนรักตนเอง’19:19 ลนต.19:18”
20ชายหนุ่มคนนั้นทูลว่า “ทุกข้อเหล่านี้ข้าพเจ้าถือรักษามาตลอด ยังขาดอะไรอีกบ้าง?”
21พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า “หากท่านปรารถนาจะเป็นคนดีพร้อม จงไปขายทุกสิ่งที่มีและแจกจ่ายให้คนยากจนแล้วท่านจะมีทรัพย์สมบัติในสวรรค์ จากนั้นจงตามเรามา”
22เมื่อชายหนุ่มได้ยินเช่นนั้นก็จากไปด้วยความเศร้าเพราะเขาร่ำรวยมาก
23แล้วพระเยซูตรัสกับเหล่าสาวกของพระองค์ว่า “เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านว่าเป็นการยากที่คนรวยจะเข้าอาณาจักรสวรรค์ 24เราบอกอีกว่าให้อูฐลอดรูเข็มก็ยังง่ายกว่าที่คนรวยจะเข้าในอาณาจักรของพระเจ้า”
25เมื่อเหล่าสาวกได้ยินเช่นนั้นก็ประหลาดใจนักจึงทูลถามว่า “ถ้าเช่นนั้นใครจะรอดได้?”
26พระเยซูทรงมองดูพวกเขาและตรัสว่า “สำหรับมนุษย์ก็เป็นไปไม่ได้ แต่สำหรับพระเจ้าทุกสิ่งเป็นไปได้”
27เปโตรทูลตอบพระองค์ว่า “ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายได้ละทิ้งทุกสิ่งมาติดตามพระองค์! แล้วข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายจะได้อะไรบ้าง?”
28พระเยซูตรัสแก่พวกเขาว่า “เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านว่าขณะที่ทุกสิ่งถูกสร้างขึ้นใหม่เมื่อบุตรมนุษย์ประทับบนบัลลังก์อันรุ่งเรืองของพระองค์ พวกท่านที่ตามเรามาก็จะนั่งบนบัลลังก์ทั้งสิบสองพิพากษาชนอิสราเอลสิบสองเผ่าด้วย 29และทุกคนที่ละทิ้งบ้าน พี่น้องชายหญิง หรือบิดามารดา19:29 สำเนาต้นฉบับบางสำเนาว่ามารดาหรือภรรยา หรือลูก หรือไร่นาเพราะเห็นแก่เราจะได้รับการตอบแทนร้อยเท่าและจะได้ชีวิตนิรันดร์ 30แต่หลายคนที่เป็นคนต้นจะเป็นคนสุดท้ายและหลายคนที่เป็นคนสุดท้ายจะเป็นคนต้น
1And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan; 2And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
3¶ The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? 4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 7They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? 8He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. 9And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
10¶ His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry. 11But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. 12For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
13¶ Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. 14But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. 15And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
16¶ And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 20The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 22But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 25When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
27¶ Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? 28And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
