Salmo 23
Salmo de David.
1O Senhor é o meu Pastor,
por isso, nada me faltará.
2Faz-me descansar em verdes pastagens;
guia-me calmamente a ribeiros tranquilos.
3Dá novas forças à minha alma;
conduz-me pelos caminhos da justiça,
para que eu honre o seu bom nome.
4Se andar pelo escuro desfiladeiro da morte,
não terei medo, porque tu estás comigo;
a tua vara e o teu cajado me amparam.
5Preparas-me uma mesa maravilhosa,
mesmo na presença dos meus inimigos.
Unges a minha cabeça com óleo;
enches-me de abundantes bênçãos,
como uma taça que transborda.
6Sem dúvida que a tua bondade e a tua misericórdia
me hão de acompanhar todos os dias da minha vida.
Habitarei na tua casa para sempre.

4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.23.5 anointest: Heb. makest fat
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.23.6 for ever: Heb. to length of days
