1 Crónicas 7:1-40

A descendência de Issacar

1Os filhos de Issacar foram:

Tola, Puá, Jasube e Simrom.

2Os filhos de Tola, cada um dos quais foi cabeça de um subclã, foram:

Uzi, Refaías, Jeriel, Jamai, Ibsam e Samuel. No tempo do rei David, o número de homens de guerra destas famílias foi de 22 600.

3O filho de Uzi foi Izraías, entre cujos cinco filhos se contam Micael, Obadias, Joel e Issias, todos eles chefes de subclãs. 4Entre os seus descendentes, no tempo do rei David, contavam-se 36 000 soldados. Os cinco acima referidos tiveram várias mulheres e muitos filhos.

5O número total dos homens aptos para o combate, de todos os clãs da tribo de Issacar, foi de 87 000 valentes soldados, todos incluídos nas genealogias oficiais.

A descendência de Benjamim

6Os filhos de Benjamim foram:

Bela, Bequer e Jediael.

7Os filhos de Bela foram:

Ezbom, Uzi, Uziel, Jerimote e Iri. Estes cinco valentes guerreiros foram chefes de subclãs e líderes de 22 034 soldados, todos com o seu nome nas genealogias oficiais.

8Os filhos de Bequer foram:

Zemira, Joás, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremote, Abias, Anatote e Alemete. 9No tempo de David havia 20 200 poderosos guerreiros entre os seus descendentes, que eram conduzidos pelos chefes do clã.

10O filho de Jediael foi Bilã.

Os filhos de Bilã foram: Jeús, Benjamim, Eude, Quenaana, Zetã, Társis e Aisaar. 11Foram chefes dos subclãs de Jediael e os seus descendentes incluíam 17 200 guerreiros no tempo de David.

12Os filhos de Ir foram Supim e Hupim. Husim foi um dos filho de Aer.

A descendência de Naftali

13Os filhos de Naftali, descendentes de Bila, mulher de Jacob, foram:

Jaziel, Guni, Jezer e Salum.

A descendência de Manassés

14Os filhos de Manassés, que lhe deu a sua concubina aramaica, foram:

Asriel e Maquir, que se tornou pai de Gileade. 15Foi Maquir que encontrou mulheres para Hupim e para Supim. A irmã de Maquir chamava-se Maacá. Outro dos seus descendentes foi Zelofeade, que só teve filhas. 16A mulher de Maquir, também chamada Maacá, deu-lhe um filho a quem chamou Peres. O nome do seu irmão foi Seres e teve como filhos Ulão e Raquem.

17O filho de Ulão foi Bedan. Estes foram os filhos de Gileade, netos de Maquir e bisnetos de Manassés.

18Hamolequete, irmã de Maquir, deu à luz Isode, Abiezer e Mala.

19Os filhos de Semida foram:

Aião, Siquem, Liqui e Anião.

A descendência de Efraim

20Os descendentes diretos de Efraim foram:

Sutela, Berede, Taate, Eleadá, Taate, 21Zabade, Sutela, Ezer e Eleade.

Eleade e Ezer tentaram roubar gado em Gate, mas foram mortos pelos proprietários locais. 22O pai deles, Efraim, chorou-os durante muito tempo e os irmãos procuraram consolá-lo. 23Depois disso, a sua mulher ficou grávida e deu à luz um filho a quem chamou Beria, que quer dizer tragédia, por causa do que acontecera. 24A filha de Efraim chamava-se Seerá. Foi ela quem construiu Bete-Horom de Cima, Bete-Horom de Baixo e também Uzem-Seerá.

25Esta é a linha de descendentes de Efraim:

Refá, pai de Resefe, pai de Telá, pai de Taã,

26pai de Ladã, pai de Amiude, pai de Elisama, 27pai de Num, pai de Josué.

28Viveram numa área delimitada dum lado por Betel e pelas aldeias ao redor, a oriente por Naarã, a ocidente por Gezer e suas aldeias e, finalmente, por Siquem e as suas aldeias, até Aiá com as suas aldeias. 29A tribo de Manassés, filho de José e neto de Israel, controlou as seguintes cidades com as suas aldeias em redor: Bete-Seã, Taanaque, Megido e Dor.

A descendência de Aser

30Os filhos de Aser foram: Imna, Isva, Isvi, Beria e Sera, irmã deles.

31Os filhos de Beria foram:

Heber, Malquiel, pai de Birzavite.

32Os filhos de Heber foram: Jaflete, Somer, Hotão e Suá, irmã deles.

33Os filhos de Jaflete foram:

Pasaque, Bimal e Asvate.

34Os filhos de Semer foram:

Aí, Rogá, Jeubá e Aram.

35Os filhos do seu irmão Helém foram:

Zofá, Imna, Seles e Amal.

36Os filhos de Zofá foram:

Suá, Harnefer, Shual, Beri, Imra, 37Bezer, Hode, Samá, Silsa, Itrã, Beera.

38Os filhos de Jeter foram:

Jefoné, Pispa e Ara.

39Os filhos de Ula foram:

Ará, Haniel e Rizia.

40Estes descendentes de Aser foram cabeças de subclãs; foram hábeis combatentes e chefes. Os seus descendentes, na genealogia oficial, eram 26 000 homens de combate.

The Family Line of Issachar

1The sons of Issachar were

Tola, Puah, Jashub and Shimron. The total number of sons was four.

2The sons of Tola were

Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam and Samuel. They were the leaders of their families. The total number of fighting men who were listed in the history of the family line of Tola was 22,600. That was when David was king.

3The son of Uzzi was

Izrahiah.

The sons of Izrahiah were

Michael, Obadiah, Joel and Ishiah. All five of them were chiefs. 4According to their family history, 36,000 of their men were ready for battle. That’s because they had many wives and children.

5The total number of fighting men who belonged to all the family groups of Issachar was 87,000. The men were listed in their family history.

The Family Line of Benjamin

6The three sons of Benjamin were

Bela, Beker and Jediael.

7The sons of Bela were

Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth and Iri. They were the leaders of their families. The total number of sons was five. Their family history listed 22,034 fighting men.

8The sons of Beker were

Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth and Alemeth. All of them were the sons of Beker. 9Their family history listed the leaders of their families. It also listed 20,200 fighting men.

10The son of Jediael was

Bilhan.

The sons of Bilhan were

Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish and Ahishahar. 11All these sons of Jediael were the leaders of their families. There were 17,200 fighting men who were ready to go to war.

12The Shuppites and Huppites belonged to the family line of Ir. The Hushites belonged to the family line of Aher.

The Family Line of Naphtali

13The sons of Naphtali were

Jahziel, Guni, Jezer and Shillem. They belonged to the family line of Bilhah.

The Family Line of Manasseh

14Here is the family line of Manasseh.

He had a concubine who was from the land of Aram. She had Asriel and Makir by him. Makir was the father of Gilead. 15Makir married a woman from among the Huppites and Shuppites. He had a sister named Maakah. Another member of Manasseh’s family line was Zelophehad. All he had was daughters. 16Makir’s wife Maakah had a son by him. She named the boy Peresh. He had a brother named Sheresh. The sons of Sheresh were Ulam and Rakem.

17The son of Ulam was

Bedan.

These were the members of the family line of Makir, the son of Manasseh. Gilead was the son of Makir.

18Gilead’s sister was Hammoleketh. She was the mother of Ishhod, Abiezer and Mahlah.

19The sons of Shemida were

Ahian, Shechem, Likhi and Aniam.

The Family Line of Ephraim

20Here are the members of the family line of Ephraim.

Shuthelah was Ephraim’s son.

Bered was Shuthelah’s son.

Tahath was Bered’s son.

Eleadah was Tahath’s son.

Tahath was Eleadah’s son.

21Zabad was Tahath’s son.

And Shuthelah was Zabad’s son.

Men from Gath killed Ezer and Elead when they went down to steal their livestock. 22Their father Ephraim mourned for them for many days. His relatives came to comfort him. 23Then he slept with his wife. She became pregnant and had a baby boy. Ephraim named him Beriah. That’s because something bad had happened in his family. 24His daughter was Sheerah. She built Lower and Upper Beth Horon. She also built Uzzen Sheerah.

25Rephah was Beriah’s son.

Resheph was Rephah’s son.

Telah was Resheph’s son.

Tahan was Telah’s son.

26Ladan was Tahan’s son.

Ammihud was Ladan’s son.

Elishama was Ammihud’s son.

27Nun was Elishama’s son.

And Joshua was the son of Nun.

28The lands and settlements of the members of Ephraim’s line included Bethel and the villages around it. Naaran was on the east. Gezer and its villages were on the west. The lands and settlements included Shechem. They also included the villages around Shechem all the way to Ayyah and its villages. 29Along the borders of Manasseh were Beth Shan, Taanach, Megiddo and Dor, together with their villages. The members of the family line of Joseph lived in these towns. Joseph was the son of Israel.

The Family Line of Asher

30The sons of Asher were

Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi and Beriah. They had a sister named Serah.

31The sons of Beriah were

Heber and Malkiel. Malkiel was the father of Birzaith.

32Heber was the father of Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham and their sister Shua.

33The sons of Japhlet were

Pasak, Bimhal and Ashvath.

They were Japhlet’s sons.

34The sons of Shomer were

Ahi, Rohgah, Hubbah and Aram.

35The sons of Shomer’s brother Helem were

Zophah, Imna, Shelesh and Amal.

36The sons of Zophah were

Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah, 37Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran and Beera.

38The sons of Jether were

Jephunneh, Pispah and Ara.

39The sons of Ulla were

Arah, Hanniel and Rizia.

40All of them were members of the family line of Asher. They were the leaders of their families. They were fine men. They were brave fighting men. They were outstanding leaders. The total number of men who were ready for battle was 26,000. They were listed in their family history.
