Cántico de los peregrinos.
1A ti, Señor, elevo mi clamor desde lo más profundo de mi ser.
2Escucha, Señor, mi voz.
Estén atentos tus oídos
a mi voz suplicante.
3Si tú, Señor, tomaras en cuenta los pecados,
¿quién, Señor, se mantendría en pie?
4Pero en ti se halla perdón
y por eso debes ser temido.
5Espero al Señor, lo espero con toda el alma;
en su palabra he puesto mi esperanza.
6Espero al Señor con toda el alma,
más que los centinelas la mañana.
Como esperan los centinelas la mañana,
7así tú, Israel, espera al Señor,
porque en él hay amor inagotable;
en él hay plena redención.
8Él mismo redimirá a Israel
de todos sus pecados.

1Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
2Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.
3If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,
Lord, who could stand?
4But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
5I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
6I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
8He himself will redeem Israel
from all their sins.
