Salmo 125
Cántico de los peregrinos.
1Los que confían en el Señor son como el monte Sión:
jamás caerá y permanece para siempre.
2Como rodean los montes a Jerusalén,
así rodea el Señor a su pueblo,
desde ahora y para siempre.
3No prevalecerá el poder de los malvados
sobre la heredad asignada a los justos,
para que nunca los justos extiendan
sus manos hacia la maldad.
4Haz bien, Señor, a los que son buenos,
a los rectos de corazón.
5Pero a los que van por caminos torcidos
deséchalos, Señor, junto con los malhechores.
¡Que haya paz en Israel!
Psalm 125
A song of ascents.
1Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
2As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people
both now and forevermore.
3The scepter of the wicked will not remain
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.
4Lord, do good to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.
5But those who turn to crooked ways
the Lord will banish with the evildoers.
