La ordenación de Aarón y sus hijos
8:1-36 – Éx 29:1-37
1El Señor dijo a Moisés: 2«Toma a Aarón y a sus hijos, junto con sus vestiduras, el aceite de la unción, el ternero para el sacrificio por el perdón de pecados, los dos carneros y el canastillo de los panes sin levadura. 3Congrega luego a toda la comunidad a la entrada de la Tienda de reunión».
4Moisés llevó a cabo la orden del Señor y congregó a la comunidad a la entrada de la Tienda de reunión.
5Allí Moisés dijo: «Esto es lo que el Señor ha ordenado hacer». 6Acto seguido, Moisés hizo que se acercaran Aarón y sus hijos y los lavó con agua. 7A Aarón le puso la túnica y se la ciñó con la faja, luego lo cubrió con el manto y encima le puso el efod, ciñéndoselo con la cinta del mismo. 8Enseguida le colocó el pectoral y sobre este puso el urim y el tumim. 9Por último, le colocó el turbante en la cabeza y en la parte delantera puso la placa de oro, la tiara sagrada, tal como el Señor se lo había mandado.
10Después Moisés tomó el aceite de la unción y ungió el santuario junto con todo lo que había en él para consagrarlos. 11Siete veces roció el aceite sobre el altar para ungirlo y consagrarlo junto con el recipiente de bronce, su base y todos sus utensilios. 12Luego, para consagrar a Aarón, lo ungió derramando sobre su cabeza un poco del aceite de la unción. 13Acto seguido, Moisés hizo que los hijos de Aarón se acercaran. Entonces los vistió con las túnicas, se las ciñó con la faja y les sujetó las mitras, tal como el Señor se lo había mandado.
14Luego hizo traer el novillo del sacrificio por el perdón, y Aarón y sus hijos pusieron las manos sobre la cabeza del novillo. 15Después Moisés lo degolló, tomó un poco de sangre con el dedo y la untó en los cuernos alrededor del altar para purificarlo. El resto de la sangre la derramó al pie del altar, y así lo consagró y lo purificó. 16Luego Moisés tomó toda la grasa que cubre los intestinos, el lóbulo del hígado, los dos riñones y su grasa, y los quemó sobre el altar. 17Pero el resto del novillo, es decir, la piel, la carne y el excremento, lo quemó en el fuego, fuera del campamento, tal como el Señor se lo había mandado.
18Moisés mandó traer el carnero del holocausto, para que Aarón y sus hijos pusieron las manos sobre la cabeza del carnero. 19Moisés lo sacrificó y roció la sangre alrededor del altar. 20Cortó luego el carnero en trozos y quemó la cabeza, los trozos y el sebo. 21Lavó con agua los intestinos y las patas; luego quemó todo el carnero sobre el altar. Se trataba de un holocausto, de una ofrenda puesta al fuego, de aroma grato delante del Señor, tal como el Señor se lo había mandado.
22Después Moisés mandó traer el otro carnero, el del sacrificio de ordenación, y Aarón y sus hijos pusieron las manos sobre la cabeza del carnero. 23Moisés lo degolló y, tomando un poco de la sangre, se la untó a Aarón en el lóbulo de la oreja derecha, en el pulgar de la mano derecha y en el dedo gordo del pie derecho. 24Además, hizo que los hijos de Aarón se acercaran y les untó sangre en el lóbulo de la oreja derecha, en el pulgar de la mano derecha y en el dedo gordo del pie derecho. Luego roció la sangre alrededor del altar. 25Tomó la grasa, la parte gorda de la cola, la grasa que recubre los intestinos, el lóbulo del hígado, los dos riñones con su grasa y el muslo derecho. 26Luego, del canastillo del pan sin levadura que estaba ante el Señor tomó un pan, una hojuela y una torta de pan hecha con aceite, lo colocó todo sobre la grasa y el muslo derecho. 27Todo esto lo meció y lo puso en las manos de Aarón y de sus hijos. Entonces Aarón lo ofreció ante el Señor como ofrenda mecida. 28Después Moisés tomó todo eso de sus manos y en presencia del Señor lo quemó en el altar, sobre el holocausto, como ofrenda de ordenación de aroma grato. Esa era una ofrenda puesta al fuego en honor del Señor. 29Luego, de la parte que le pertenecía de la ofrenda de ordenación, Moisés tomó el pecho del carnero y lo meció ante el Señor, tal como el Señor se lo había mandado.
30Moisés tomó un poco del aceite de la unción y de la sangre del altar, y roció a Aarón y a sus hijos junto con sus vestiduras. Así consagró Moisés a Aarón y a sus hijos, junto con sus vestiduras.
31Luego dijo Moisés a Aarón y a sus hijos: «Cocinen la carne a la entrada de la Tienda de reunión y cómanla allí junto con el pan del sacrificio de ordenación, tal como lo ordené cuando dije: “Aarón y sus hijos se lo comerán”. 32Quemen después en el fuego el resto de la carne y del pan. 33Quédense siete días a la entrada de la Tienda de reunión, hasta que se complete el rito de su ordenación, que dura siete días. 34El Señor mandó que se pidiera perdón por el pecado de ustedes, tal como se ha hecho hoy. 35Así que siete días con sus noches se quedarán a la entrada de la Tienda de reunión, cumpliendo con lo que el Señor ha ordenado, para que no mueran. Así me lo ha mandado el Señor».
36Y Aarón y sus hijos hicieron todo lo que el Señor había mandado por medio de Moisés.
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread; 3And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 4And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 5And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done. 6And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water. 7And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith. 8And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim. 9And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses. 10And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them. 11And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them. 12And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him. 13And Moses brought Aaron’s sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.8.13 put bonnets: Heb. bound bonnets
14And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering. 15And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it. 16And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar. 17But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.
18¶ And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram. 19And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about. 20And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat. 21And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
22¶ And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram. 23And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron’s right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot. 24And he brought Aaron’s sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about. 25And he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder: 26And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder: 27And he put all upon Aaron’s hands, and upon his sons’ hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD. 28And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet savour: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 29And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: for of the ram of consecration it was Moses’ part; as the LORD commanded Moses. 30And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons’ garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.
31¶ And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it. 32And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire. 33And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you. 34As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you. 35Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded. 36So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
