6:54-81 – Jos 21:4-39
54Estos fueron los territorios donde vivían los descendientes de Aarón. A las familias de los coatitas se les adjudicó por sorteo:
55Hebrón, en la tierra de Judá, con sus campos de pastoreo. 56A Caleb, hijo de Jefone, le tocaron el campo de la ciudad y sus aldeas. 57A los descendientes de Aarón les entregaron las siguientes ciudades de refugio: Hebrón, Libná, Jatir, Estemoa, 58Hilén, Debir, 59Asán y Bet Semes, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
60De la tribu de Benjamín les dieron Gueba, Alemet y Anatot, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
En total les tocaron trece ciudades, distribuidas entre sus familias.
61Al resto de los descendientes de Coat les tocaron por sorteo diez ciudades de la media tribu de Manasés.
62A los descendientes de Guersón, según sus familias, les dieron trece ciudades de las tribus de Isacar, Aser y Neftalí, y de la tribu de Manasés que estaba en Basán.
63A los descendientes de Merari, según sus familias, les tocaron por sorteo doce ciudades de las tribus de Rubén, Gad y Zabulón.
64Fue así como los israelitas entregaron a los levitas estas ciudades con sus campos de pastoreo.
65Les adjudicaron por sorteo las ciudades de las tribus de Judá, Simeón y Benjamín, las cuales ya han sido mencionadas.
66Algunas de las familias descendientes de Coat recibieron por sorteo ciudades de la tribu de Efraín.
67Como ciudades de refugio les dieron Siquén, en la región montañosa de Efraín, Guézer, 68Jocmeán, Bet Jorón, 69Ayalón y Gat Rimón, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
70De la media tribu de Manasés les entregaron Aner y Bileán, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo. Estas fueron las ciudades asignadas al resto de las familias de Coat.
71Los descendientes de Guersón recibieron las siguientes ciudades de la media tribu de Manasés:
Golán de Basán, y Astarot, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
72De la tribu de Isacar recibieron: Cedes, Daberat, 73Ramot y Anén, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.

57So the descendants of Aaron were given Hebron (a city of refuge), and Libnah,6:57 See Joshua 21:13; Hebrew given the cities of refuge: Hebron, Libnah. The total number of towns distributed among the Kohathite clans came to thirteen.
61The rest of Kohath’s descendants were allotted ten towns from the clans of half the tribe of Manasseh.
62The descendants of Gershon, clan by clan, were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher and Naphtali, and from the part of the tribe of Manasseh that is in Bashan.
63The descendants of Merari, clan by clan, were allotted twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Zebulun.
64So the Israelites gave the Levites these towns and their pasturelands. 65From the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin they allotted the previously named towns.
66Some of the Kohathite clans were given as their territory towns from the tribe of Ephraim.
67In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem (a city of refuge), and Gezer,6:67 See Joshua 21:21; Hebrew given the cities of refuge: Shechem, Gezer. 68Jokmeam, Beth Horon, 69Aijalon and Gath Rimmon, together with their pasturelands.
70And from half the tribe of Manasseh the Israelites gave Aner and Bileam, together with their pasturelands, to the rest of the Kohathite clans.
71The Gershonites received the following:
From the clan of the half-tribe of Manasseh
they received Golan in Bashan and also Ashtaroth, together with their pasturelands;
72from the tribe of Issachar
they received Kedesh, Daberath, 73Ramoth and Anem, together with their pasturelands;
74from the tribe of Asher
they received Mashal, Abdon, 75Hukok and Rehob, together with their pasturelands;
76and from the tribe of Naphtali
they received Kedesh in Galilee, Hammon and Kiriathaim, together with their pasturelands.
77The Merarites (the rest of the Levites) received the following:
From the tribe of Zebulun
