El arca
37:1-9 – Éx 25:10-20
1Bezalel hizo el arca de madera de acacia, de dos codos y medio de largo, un codo y medio de ancho, y un codo y medio de alto.37:1 Es decir, aprox. 1.1 m de largo por 68 cm de ancho y 68 cm de alto; también en v. 6. 2La recubrió de oro puro por dentro y por fuera, también puso en su derredor una moldura de oro. 3Fundió cuatro anillos de oro para el arca y se los colocó a sus cuatro patas, colocando dos anillos en un lado y dos en el otro. 4Hizo luego unas varas de madera de acacia, las recubrió de oro, 5y las introdujo en los anillos que van a los costados del arca para transportarla.
6Al arca le hizo una tapa de oro puro, de dos codos y medio de largo por un codo y medio de ancho. 7Para los dos extremos de la tapa del arca hizo dos querubines de oro trabajado a martillo. 8En cada uno de los extremos puso un querubín, y los hizo de modo que ambos formaban una sola pieza con la tapa del arca. 9Los querubines tenían las alas extendidas por encima de la tapa del arca y con ellas lo cubrían. Quedaban el uno frente al otro, mirando hacia la tapa.
La mesa
37:10-16 – Éx 25:23-29
10Bezalel hizo la mesa de madera de acacia de dos codos de largo por un codo de ancho y un codo y medio de alto.37:10 Es decir, aprox. 90 cm por 45 cm de ancho y 68 cm de alto. 11La recubrió de oro puro y le puso alrededor una moldura de oro. 12También le hizo un reborde de un palmo37:12 Es decir, aprox. 7.5 cm; se trata aquí del palmo menor. de ancho y puso una moldura de oro alrededor del reborde. 13Fundió cuatro anillos de oro para la mesa y se los sujetó a las cuatro esquinas, donde iban las cuatro patas. 14Los anillos fueron colocados junto al reborde para pasar por ellos las varas empleadas para transportar la mesa. 15Esas varas eran de madera de acacia y estaban recubiertas de oro. 16Los utensilios para la mesa, sus platos, bandejas, tazones y jarras para verter las ofrendas líquidas, los hizo de oro puro.
El candelabro
37:17-24 – Éx 25:31-39
17Bezalel hizo el candelabro de oro puro trabajado a martillo. Su base, su tallo, y sus copas, cálices y flores formaban una sola pieza. 18De los costados del candelabro salían seis brazos, tres de un lado y tres del otro. 19En cada uno de los seis brazos del candelabro había tres copas en forma de flores de almendro, con cálices y pétalos. 20El candelabro mismo tenía cuatro copas en forma de flor de almendro, con cálices y pétalos. 21Debajo del primer par de brazos que salía del candelabro había un cáliz; debajo del segundo par de brazos había un segundo cáliz y debajo del tercer par de brazos había un tercer cáliz —seis brazos en total. 22Los cálices y los brazos formaban una sola pieza con el candelabro, el cual era de oro puro trabajado a martillo.
23Hizo también de oro puro sus siete lámparas, lo mismo que sus cortapabilos y braseros. 24Para hacer el candelabro y todos sus accesorios, usó un talento37:24 Es decir, aprox. 34 kg. de oro puro.
El altar del incienso
37:25-28 – Éx 30:1-5
25Bezalel hizo de madera de acacia el altar del incienso. Era cuadrado, de un codo de largo por un codo de ancho y dos codos de alto.37:25 Es decir, aprox. 45 cm de largo por 45 cm de ancho y 90 cm de alto. Sus cuernos formaban una pieza con el altar. 26Recubrió de oro puro su parte superior, sus cuatro costados y los cuernos, y puso una moldura de oro alrededor. 27Debajo de la moldura puso dos anillos de oro en cada uno de sus costados, para pasar por ellos las varas usadas para transportarlo. 28Las varas las hizo de madera de acacia y las recubrió de oro.
29Bezalel hizo también el aceite de la unción sagrada y el incienso puro y aromático, como lo hacen los fabricantes de perfumes.
1And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it: 2And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about. 3And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it. 4And he made staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold. 5And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.
6¶ And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof. 7And he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;37.7 on…: or, out of, etc 8One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.37.8 on the end: or, out of, etc37.8 on the other end: or, out of, etc 9And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims.
10¶ And he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof: 11And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown of gold round about. 12Also he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about. 13And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof. 14Over against the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table. 15And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table. 16And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.37.16 to cover…: or, to pour out withal
17¶ And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same: 18And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof: 19Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick. 20And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers: 21And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it. 22Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold. 23And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold. 24Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
25¶ And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same. 26And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about. 27And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal. 28And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
29¶ And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.
