Salmos 137 – NVI-PT & KJV

Nova Versão Internacional

Salmos 137:1-9

Salmo 137

penduramos as nossas harpas;

4Como poderíamos cantar as canções do Senhor

numa terra estrangeira?

5Que a minha mão direita definhe,

6Que me grude a língua ao céu da boca,

se eu não me lembrar de ti

e não considerar Jerusalém

a minha maior alegria!

4How shall we sing the LORD’s song in a strange land?137.4 strange…: Heb. land of a stranger?

6If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.137.6 my chief…: Heb. the head of my joy

7Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.137.7 Rase it: Heb. Make bare
