Números 2:1-34

A Disposição das Tribos no Acampamento

1O Senhor disse a Moisés e a Arão: 2“Os israelitas acamparão ao redor da Tenda do Encontro, a certa distância, cada homem junto à sua bandeira com os emblemas da sua família”.

3A leste, os exércitos de Judá acamparão junto à sua bandeira.

O líder de Judá será Naassom, filho de Aminadabe. 4Seu exército é de 74.600 homens.

5A tribo de Issacar acampará ao lado de Judá. O líder de Issacar será Natanael, filho de Zuar. 6Seu exército é de 54.400 homens.

7A tribo de Zebulom virá em seguida. O líder de Zebulom será Eliabe, filho de Helom. 8Seu exército é de 57.400 homens.

9O número total dos homens recenseados do acampamento de Judá, de acordo com os seus exércitos, foi 186.400. Esses marcharão primeiro.

10Ao sul estarão os exércitos do acampamento de Rúben, junto à sua bandeira.

O líder de Rúben será Elizur, filho de Sedeur. 11Seu exército é de 46.500 homens.

12A tribo de Simeão acampará ao lado de Rúben. O líder de Simeão será Selumiel, filho de Zurisadai. 13Seu exército é de 59.300 homens.

14A tribo de Gade virá em seguida. O líder de Gade será Eliasafe, filho de Deuel2.14 Alguns manuscritos dizem Reuel.. 15Seu exército é de 45.650 homens.

16O número total dos homens recenseados do acampamento de Rúben, de acordo com os seus exércitos, foi 151.450. Esses marcharão em segundo lugar.

17Em seguida, os levitas marcharão levando a Tenda do Encontro no meio dos outros acampamentos, na mesma ordem em que acamparem, cada um em seu próprio lugar, junto à sua bandeira.

18A oeste estarão os exércitos do acampamento de Efraim, junto à sua bandeira.

O líder de Efraim será Elisama, filho de Amiúde. 19Seu exército é de 40.500 homens.

20A tribo de Manassés acampará ao lado de Efraim. O líder de Manassés será Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur. 21Seu exército é de 32.200 homens.

22A tribo de Benjamim virá em seguida. O líder de Benjamim será Abidã, filho de Gideoni. 23Seu exército é de 35.400 homens.

24O número total dos homens recenseados do acampamento de Efraim, de acordo com os seus exércitos, foi 108.100. Esses marcharão em terceiro lugar.

25Ao norte estarão os exércitos do acampamento de Dã, junto à sua bandeira.

O líder de Dã será Aieser, filho de Amisadai. 26Seu exército é de 62.700 homens.

27A tribo de Aser acampará ao lado de Dã. O líder de Aser será Pagiel, filho de Ocrã. 28Seu exército é de 41.500 homens.

29A tribo de Naftali virá em seguida. O líder de Naftali será Aira, filho de Enã. 30Seu exército é de 53.400 homens.

31O número total dos homens recenseados do acampamento de Dã, de acordo com os seus exércitos, foi 157.600. Esses marcharão por último, junto às suas bandeiras.

32Foram esses os israelitas contados de acordo com as suas famílias. O número total dos que foram contados nos acampamentos, de acordo com os seus exércitos, foi 603.550. 33Os levitas, contudo, não foram contados com os outros israelitas, conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.

34Assim os israelitas fizeram tudo o que o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés; eles acampavam junto às suas bandeiras e depois partiam, cada um com o seu clã e com a sua família.

Numbers 2:1-34

The Arrangement of the Tribal Camps

1The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 2“The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard and holding the banners of their family.”

3On the east, toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab. 4His division numbers 74,600.

5The tribe of Issachar will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar. 6His division numbers 54,400.

7The tribe of Zebulun will be next. The leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon. 8His division numbers 57,400.

9All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first.

10On the south will be the divisions of the camp of Reuben under their standard. The leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur. 11His division numbers 46,500.

12The tribe of Simeon will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai. 13His division numbers 59,300.

16All the men assigned to the camp of Reuben, according to their divisions, number 151,450. They will set out second.

17Then the tent of meeting and the camp of the Levites will set out in the middle of the camps. They will set out in the same order as they encamp, each in their own place under their standard.

18On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud. 19His division numbers 40,500.

20The tribe of Manasseh will be next to them. The leader of the people of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur. 21His division numbers 32,200.

22The tribe of Benjamin will be next. The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni. 23His division numbers 35,400.

24All the men assigned to the camp of Ephraim, according to their divisions, number 108,100. They will set out third.

25On the north will be the divisions of the camp of Dan under their standard. The leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai. 26His division numbers 62,700.

27The tribe of Asher will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Asher is Pagiel son of Okran. 28His division numbers 41,500.

29The tribe of Naphtali will be next. The leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira son of Enan. 30His division numbers 53,400.

31All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last, under their standards.

32These are the Israelites, counted according to their families. All the men in the camps, by their divisions, number 603,550. 33The Levites, however, were not counted along with the other Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.

34So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.
