O cântare. Un psalm al fiilor lui Korah.
1Mare este Domnul și foarte vrednic de laudă,
în cetatea Dumnezeului nostru, muntele Lui cel sfânt!
2Frumoasă înălțime,
bucuria întregului pământ,
este muntele Sion,
în părțile îndepărtate ale nordului, cetatea Marelui Împărat!
3În palatele ei, Dumnezeu Se face cunoscut ca fiind întăritura ei.
4Iată că regii se adunaseră
și înaintaseră cu toții,
5dar când au văzut cetatea, au înlemnit,
s‑au îngrozit și s‑au grăbit să fugă.
6I‑a apucat un cutremur acolo,
un chin precum al celei care naște.
7Cu vântul de răsărit

10Dumnezeule, așa cum este Numele Tău,

12Ocoliți Sionul, înconjurați‑l,
numărați‑i turnurile!
13Admirați‑i fortificațiile,

9Within your temple, O God,
we meditate on your unfailing love.
10Like your name, O God,
your praise reaches to the ends of the earth;
your right hand is filled with righteousness.
11Mount Zion rejoices,
the villages of Judah are glad
because of your judgments.
12Walk about Zion, go round her,
count her towers,
13consider well her ramparts,
view her citadels,
that you may tell of them
to the next generation.
14For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide even to the end.
