Psalmul 46
Pentru dirijor. Al fiilor lui Korah. De cântat în alamotTitlu. Indicație muzicală necunoscută.. O cântare.
1Dumnezeu este adăpostul și tăria noastră.
El este un mare ajutor care nu lipsește în necazuri.
2De aceea nu ne temem, chiar dacă s‑ar schimba pământul
și s‑ar zgudui munții în inima mărilor,
3chiar dacă le‑ar vui și le‑ar spumega apele
și s‑ar cutremura munții la revărsarea lor! Selah
4Este un râu ale cărui izvoare înveselesc cetatea lui Dumnezeu,
Locul Sfânt al locuințelor Celui Preaînalt.
5Dumnezeu este în mijlocul ei; ea nu se va clătina;
Dumnezeu o va ajuta la revărsatul zorilor.
6Neamurile se agită, regatele se clatină;
când Își ridică El glasul, pământul se topește.
7Domnul Oștirilor este cu noi,
Dumnezeul lui Iacov este întăritura noastră! Selah
8Veniți și priviți lucrările Domnului,
prin care El a adus pustiiri pe pământ!
9El oprește războaiele până la capătul pământului;
El zdrobește arcul, rupe lancea
și arde în foc carele.9 Sau: scuturile.
10„Opriți‑vă și recunoașteți că Eu sunt Dumnezeu!
Eu voi fi înălțat printre neamuri,
voi fi înălțat pe pământ!“
11Domnul Oștirilor este cu noi,
Dumnezeul lui Iacov este întăritura noastră! Selah

9He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
