Psalmul 45
Pentru dirijor. De cântat ca și „Crinii“. Al fiilor lui Korah. Un maschilTitlu. Vezi Ps. 32.. O cântare de dragoste.
1Un cuvânt plăcut îmi clocotește în inimă.
Eu zic: „Versurile1 Lit.: lucrările. mele sunt pentru rege!“
Limba mea este pana unui scrib îndemânatic!
2Ești cel mai frumos dintre fiii omului!
Bunăvoința2 Termenul ebraic are și sensul de plăcut/plăcută. este revărsată pe buzele tale;
de aceea te‑a binecuvântat Dumnezeu pe vecie.
3Încinge‑ți sabia la coapsă, viteazule,
splendoarea și măreția ta!
4În măreția ta, călărește învingător
pentru cauza adevărului, a smereniei și a dreptății!
Dreapta ta să înfăptuiască lucrări de temut!
5Săgețile tale ascuțite să străpungă inima dușmanilor regelui,
și popoarele să cadă sub picioarele tale!5 Sensul versetului este nesigur.
6Tronul Tău, Dumnezeule6 Psalmul este unul mesianic, care Îi este aplicat în Noul Testament lui Isus Cristos. În contextul său istoric, psalmul se referă la regele dinastiei davidice, care domnește în Numele lui Dumnezeu., este pentru veci de veci;
toiagul Împărăției Tale este un toiag al dreptății!
7Tu ai iubit dreptatea și ai urât răutatea.
De aceea, Dumnezeule, Dumnezeul Tău Te‑a uns7 Sau: de aceea Dumnezeu, Dumnezeul Tău, Te‑a uns.
cu untdelemnul bucuriei, mai presus decât pe confrații Tăi.
8Toate veșmintele tale sunt înmiresmate cu smirnă, aloe și casia.
În palate de fildeș,
instrumentele cu coarde te înveselesc.
9Printre cele prețioase ale tale se află fiice de regi;
regina9 Lit.: consoarta. stă la dreapta ta, îmbrăcată în aur de Ofir.
10Ascultă, fiică, privește și pleacă‑ți urechea!
Uită‑ți poporul și casa tatălui tău!
11Atunci regele va tânji după frumusețea ta.
Pentru că îți este stăpân, pleacă‑te înaintea lui!
12Fiica Tyrului va veni cu daruri;
oameni bogați îți vor căuta bunăvoința.
13Fiica regelui este plină de strălucire înăuntrul palatului;
veșmântul ei este țesut cu fir de aur.
14Cu haine brodate este adusă înaintea regelui;
este însoțită de fecioare,
care sunt aduse înaintea ta.
15Sunt aduse cu bucurie și cu veselie,
iar ele intră în palatul regelui.
16Fiii tăi vor lua locul părinților tăi;
pe ei îi vei pune prinți în toată țara.
17Îți voi pomeni numele din generație în generație;
de aceea te vor lăuda popoarele în veci de veci.

2Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
3Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
4And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.45.4 ride…: Heb. prosper thou, ride thou
5Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
6Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
7Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
8All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
9Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
10Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;
11So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.
12And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.45.12 favour: Heb. face
13The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.
14She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.
15With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.
16Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
17I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
