Psalmul 145
O cântare de laudă. A lui David.Titlu. Este un psalm acrostih (în textul ebraic fiecare verset, inclusiv 13b, începe cu o literă a alfabetului ebraic, în ordinea literelor).
1Te voi înălța, Dumnezeul meu, Împărate!
Voi binecuvânta Numele Tău în veci de veci!
2Te voi binecuvânta în fiecare zi;
voi lăuda Numele Tău în veci de veci!
3Domnul este mare și foarte vrednic de laudă!
Măreția Lui este nepătrunsă!
4Fiecare generație va lăuda lucrările Tale
și va vesti isprăvile Tale!
5Voi spune despre splendoarea slavei măreției Tale
și voi istorisi despre minunile Tale!
6Oamenii vor vorbi despre puterea Ta de temut,
iar eu voi povesti despre măreția Ta.
7Vor trâmbița aducerea-aminte a marii Tale bunătăți
și vor aclama cu bucurie dreptatea Ta.
8Domnul este plin de har și milostiv,
încet la mânie și bogat în îndurare.
9Domnul este bun cu toți,
mila Lui se întinde peste toate lucrările Sale.
10Toate lucrările Tale Îți vor aduce mulțumiri, Doamne,
iar credincioșii Tăi Te vor binecuvânta!
11Vor mărturisi despre slava împărăției Tale
și vor vorbi despre măreția Ta,
12ca să facă cunoscut fiilor omului isprăvile Tale
și slava splendorii împărăției Tale.
13Împărăția Ta este o împărăție veșnică
și stăpânirea Ta dăinuie din generație în generație.
Domnul este credincios tuturor promisiunilor Sale
și plin de îndurare față de tot ce a creat.
14Domnul îi sprijină pe toți cei ce cad
și îi îndreaptă pe toți cei încovoiați!
15Ochii tuturor se îndreaptă cu speranță către Tine,
iar Tu le dai hrana la vreme.
16Îți deschizi mâna
și saturi, după dorință, tot ce are viață.
17Domnul este drept în toate căile Sale
și îndurător17 Ebr.: hasid, înrudit cu hesed. în toate faptele Sale!
18Domnul este aproape de toți cei ce‑L cheamă,
de toți cei ce‑L cheamă în adevăr.
19El împlinește dorința celor ce se tem de El;
aude strigătul lor după ajutor și‑i izbăvește.
20Domnul îi păzește pe toți cei ce‑L iubesc,
dar îi nimicește pe toți cei răi.
21Gura mea va rosti lauda Domnului
și orice făptură să binecuvânteze Numele Lui cel sfânt în veci de veci.
Psalm 145This psalm is an acrostic poem, the verses of which (including verse 13b) begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
A psalm of praise. Of David.
1I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
3Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no-one can fathom.
4One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
5They speak of the glorious splendour of your majesty –

6They tell of the power of your awesome works –
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7They celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8The Lord is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.
9The Lord is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.
10All your works praise you, Lord;
your faithful people extol you.
11They tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your might,
12so that all people may know of your mighty acts
and the glorious splendour of your kingdom.
13Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does.145:13 One manuscript of the Masoretic Text, Dead Sea Scrolls and Syriac (see also Septuagint); most manuscripts of the Masoretic Text do not have the last two lines of verse 13.
14The Lord upholds all who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.
16You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
17The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.
18The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
19He fulfils the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.
20The Lord watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.
21My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord.
Let every creature praise his holy name
for ever and ever.
