O cântare de pelerinaj
1Când Domnul i‑a întors acasă pe captivii1 Sau: a restaurat bunăstarea. Sionului,
parcă visam.
2Atunci gura ni s‑a umplut de râsete,
și limba noastră – de strigăte de bucurie.
Atunci se spunea printre neamuri:
„Domnul a făcut lucruri mari pentru ei!“
3Domnul a făcut lucruri mari pentru noi;
de aceea suntem bucuroși.
4Întoarce‑i acasă, Doamne, pe captivii noștri,
ca pe niște torente din Neghev.
5Cei ce seamănă cu lacrimi,
vor secera cu strigăte de bucurie.
6Cel ce merge plângând,
ducându‑și traista cu sămânță,
va veni cu strigăte de bucurie,
ducându‑și snopii.

1When the Lord restored the fortunes of126:1 Or Lord brought back the captives to Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.126:1 Or those restored to health
2Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
‘The Lord has done great things for them.’
3The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.
4Restore our fortunes,126:4 Or Bring back our captives Lord,
like streams in the Negev.
5Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
6Those who go out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.
