Învierea lui Isus
(Mc. 16:1-8; Lc. 24:1-12; In. 20:1-18)
1După ziua de Sabat, în zorii primei zile din săptămână, Maria Magdalena și cealaltă Maria au venit să se uite la mormânt.
2Și iată că a avut loc un mare cutremur, căci un înger al Domnului a coborât din cer, s-a dus și a rostogolit piatra de la intrarea mormântului și s-a așezat pe ea. 3Înfățișarea lui era ca fulgerul, iar îmbrăcămintea lui era albă ca zăpada. 4De frica lui, gardienii s-au cutremurat și au rămas ca morți.
5Îngerul le-a zis5 Lit.: Dar îngerul, răspunzând, le-a zis. femeilor: „Nu vă temeți! Știu că Îl căutați pe Isus Care a fost răstignit. 6Nu este aici, pentru că a fost înviat, așa cum a spus! Veniți și vedeți locul unde fusese pus! 7Apoi duceți-vă repede și spuneți-le ucenicilor Lui: «A fost înviat dintre cei morți! Iată că El merge înaintea voastră în Galileea. Acolo Îl veți vedea.» Iată, v-am spus aceasta!“
8Ele au plecat repede de la mormânt, cu frică și cu mare bucurie, și au alergat să-i anunțe pe ucenicii Lui. 9Dar iată că le-a ieșit înainte Isus, zicând: „Salutare!9 Gr.: chairete, verb generic folosit ca formulă de salut atât în comunicarea verbală, cât și în cea scrisă. El mai poate însemna: Bucură-te! Fii sănătos! Salut! Bun venit!“ Ele s-au apropiat, I-au cuprins picioarele și I s-au închinat. 10Atunci Isus le-a zis: „Nu vă temeți! Duceți-vă și anunțați-i pe frații Mei să meargă în Galileea! Acolo Mă vor vedea.“
Darea de seamă a gărzii și înșelătoria conducătorilor
11În timp ce plecau ele, iată că unii dintre gardieni s-au dus în cetate și i-au anunțat pe conducătorii preoților cu privire la tot ce se întâmplase. 12Aceștia s-au adunat împreună cu bătrânii, au ținut sfat și le-au dat soldaților mulți arginți, 13zicându-le: „Să spuneți așa: «Ucenicii Lui au venit noaptea, în timp ce noi dormeam, și L-au furat.» 14Iar dacă va ajunge lucrul acesta la auzul guvernatorului, îl vom convinge noi și vă vom scăpa de grijă.“ 15Ei au luat arginții și au făcut așa cum fuseseră învățați. Și vorba aceasta a fost răspândită printre iudei până în ziua de azi.
Marea Trimitere
(Mc. 16:14-18; Lc. 24:36-49; In. 20:19-23)
16Cei unsprezece ucenici s-au dus în Galileea, la muntele unde le indicase Isus să meargă. 17Când L-au văzut, I s-au închinat, dar unii s-au îndoit. 18Isus S-a apropiat de ei și le-a vorbit, zicând: „Toată autoritatea Mi-a fost dată în cer și pe pământ. 19Prin urmare, duceți-vă și faceți ucenici din toate neamurile, botezându-i în Numele Tatălui, al Fiului și al Duhului Sfânt 20și învățându-i să păzească tot ce v-am poruncit! Și iată că Eu sunt cu voi20 Vezi 1:23. în toate zilele, până la sfârșitul veacului!“
1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. 2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: 4And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. 5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. 8And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9¶ And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. 10Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11¶ Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. 12And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, 13Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. 14And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. 15So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16¶ Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19¶ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
