1О, Пастиру Израиља, чуј нас!
Ти што Јосифа си водио ко стадо!
Заблистај ти, што седиш над херувимима!
2Устани у сили својој пред Јефремом, Венијамином и Манасијом.
Дођи и избави нас.
3Обнови нас, о, Боже!
Озари лице своје
да бисмо се избавили.
4О, Господе, Боже над војскама,
до када ћеш срдит бити,
а твој ти се народ моли?
5Сузним хлебом ти их храниш,
сузама из чанка појиш.
6Од нас си направио раздор међу комшијама нашим,
међу собом шегаче се душмани са нама.
7О, Боже над војскама, поврати нас!
Озари лице своје
да бисмо се избавили.
8Чокот си из Египта искоренио
и народе отерао да би га усадио.
9Пред њиме си раскрчио и он се укоренио,
свуд по земљи пружио је жиле.
10Хлад је његов брда засенио,
а лозама Божије кедрове.
11До мора су се гранале његове лозе,
изданци његови све до Еуфрата.
12Зашто си му срушио ограде
да га бере свако ко пролази путем?
13Ровари га дивљи вепар,
глође га све што се по пољу миче.
14Боже над војскама, молимо те, врати се!
Са небеса погледај и види,
побрини се за чокот овај;
15за корен што си га десницом својом усадио
и младице што си себи ојачао.
16Ето, сажежен је ватром и посечен,
они гину од прекорног лица твога.
17Нека рука твоја буде над човеком деснице твоје,
над потомком људи којега си себи ојачао.
18Тада се од тебе више одвратити нећемо.
Ти нас оживи, ми име твоје призивамо!
19Обнови нас Господе, Боже над војскама!

5Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
6Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
7Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
8Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
9Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
10The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.80.10 goodly…: Heb. cedars of God
11She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.
12Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
13The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.
14Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
15And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
16It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
18So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
19Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
