Давидова похвална песма.
1О, мој Боже, о, царе, величаћу тебе,
име твоје благосиљаћу у веке векова!
2Сваког дана благосиљаћу те,
име ћу ти прослављати у веке векова.
3Велики је Господ, предостојан славе,
величанства недокучивога.
4Поколење поколењу твоја дела разглашава,
обзнањује силу твоју.
5О красоти славе величанства твога,
о стварима чудним твојим ја ћу да размишљам145,5 Овај глагол, ова мисао се може превести и овако: ја ћу да говорим..
6Говориће људи о снази твојих страшних дела,
а и ја ћу да сведочим о твом величанству.
7Казиваће сећање о твојој великој доброти,
клицаће радосно о праведности твојој.
8Милосрдан и милостив је Господ,
спор на срџбу и богат милошћу!
9Свакоме је Господ добар,
милосрдан свим својим делима.
10О, Господе, славиће те свако дело твоје;
твоји верни благосиљаће те!
11О слави твога царства говориће,
о снази твојој сведочиће;
12дела ће му силна објавити људима,
и славну красоту његовога царства.
13Царство свих времена јесте царство твоје,
твоја владавина за све нараштаје.
14Господ је ослонац за све који падну,
узданица за све понижене.
15Тебе очекују баш свачије очи
и ти им дајеш храну кад је томе време.
16Руку своју ти отвараш
и ситиш жељу сваког живог бића.
17На свим путевима својим праведан је Господ
и веран је у сваком подухвату.
18Господ је близак свима што га призивају,
свима што га у истини зову.
19Испуњава чежњу богобојазнима,
спасава их када чује како вапе.
20Господ брани све који га воле,
а злотворе све ће да разори.
21Господу ће уста моја ускликнути славопоје!
Нек све живо благосиља то свето му име,
у веке векова!
Psalm 145This psalm is an acrostic poem, the verses of which (including verse 13b) begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
A psalm of praise. Of David.
1I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
3Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
4One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
5They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—

6They tell of the power of your awesome works—
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7They celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8The Lord is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.
9The Lord is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.
10All your works praise you, Lord;
your faithful people extol you.
11They tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your might,
12so that all people may know of your mighty acts
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises

14The Lord upholds all who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.
16You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
17The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.
18The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
19He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.
20The Lord watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.
21My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord.
Let every creature praise his holy name
for ever and ever.
